Me and my partner went in November as we had been recommended by some friends and I was shocked to say the least.
We had a lovely welcome by the staff and then it all went downhill from there.
As we were waiting for our...food, I presume it was manager.. she was shouting at the staff in front of the whole restaurant who could hear her and the atmosphere was horrendous, it was fairly busy that night and all the other tables just looked embarrassed and awkward including ourselves, so we offered to leave. Then a waitress reassured us who clearly looked uncomfortable after the incident.
The food then arrived.. it was okay, nothing special and not for the price either.
I had the linguine; the mussels were undercooked. My partner had the beef bourguignon which the presentation I must say was like a horror story and the taste was very salty.
Safe to say we won’t be returning and won’t be recommending.More
This place comes highly recommended and the food was not bad (but not spectacular) and every trick in the book is used to part you with your money. Bread for the table? That's a couple of quid for a bit of chopped up baguette they...kept trying to take back, Olives add a bit more for a bowl of cheap Olives out of a jar. Drinks add a fiver for a teeny bottle of beer. Very limited range of soft drinks. Any sides? Well watch that as we were sold some potatoes as a meal did not come with any - even though it did (and we even questioned that.)
All adds up.
Menu seemed a bit dated but food was well cooked and decent portions. Staff were cheery and attentive but clearly had their regulars who they spent more time with.
So okay but not spectacular. Would I go back? Maybe but there are other places just as good locally.More
Impeccable service especially as over the years we are very familiar with all the Staff, very personal touch.
As for the food, well I can’t tell you just how amazing it is, everything is just perfect, I can’t recommend a visit to Rendezvous’s more highly...for such a special experience.
It’s my first choice for a social catch up with girlfriends or a romantic evening with my partner.
Breakfast is amazing too!!!
You must experience it for yourself!
I look forward to seeing your review!!!!

What a treat! We were on holiday in Westerham for a week and ate dinner here twice and lunch once. Every meal was gorgeous, and the service was amazing - super friendly, lovely staff. We loved it. A very close relative lives very nearby so...we will be back again - and again.More
I wanted to say a big THANK YOU to Maria and her team for arranging our last minute table request due to the restaurant we were going to had to be closed due to a COVID case! We had a super meal and looked after...so well, we love it here and the food is divine .. During Lockdown they kept us happy with the weekly take ways I would not had coped without them. We will be back soon of course .. thank you Team Rendezvous :)More
I had arranged to meet in Westerham with a friend for a drink in the sun but found it to be very busy but happily
we were able to have a drink on the Green and found a bench. Where to eat? I had checked...out RB on Trip Advisor but comments were before Lockdown 2 so I was not sure how relevant they would be.
The experience was excellent in the current circumstances and the salmon really tasty with potatoes and spinach. All served piping hot just outside the restaurant looking onto the High Street. Drinks and coffee came without a problem and the service was friendly and timely.
We ate around 6.30pm to 8pm. I would suggest that you bring warm clothing. RB has put in outdoor heaters
but they are a little bit high to make a major impact.
I shall definitely return when indoor dining returns.More
Lovely ambience and staff serving first rate meals from an attractive menu. What's not to like? Well the cost has become hard to swallow. A soup starter will set you back over £10 and that is one of the cheaper options! Prices have risen recently...& are now on a par with top west end London restaurants.More
Always a good atmosphere and great food. The service, run by the very lovely manageress , is always professional and personal. Strict Covid measures in place it’s a great place for lunch or dinner. Breakfast on a Sunday morning is the best but book as...tables at a premium.
Overall consistent, good quality and warm friendly service.More
