Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great local beers (bohemian rhapsody was a big hit) and a selection of wines in a really unique environment. Pizza scrumptious and plenty of gluten free options for food and drinks. Always had good service here but Shae was absolutely excellent 👌 and really made...it a great experience - see you again soon - events like the jazz/comedy look good 👍More

Thank you for this great review, we're very happy you had such an enjoyable time here. I have already passed this on to all the staff who work so hard to make the venue what it is. We hope to see you here again soon.

Having been visiting this place since its opening and having watched it grow to what it has become I can only say how SAD I was last sunday, after a lovely walk at Knole Park and fancying a BEER on the way home decided to...call in and get some drinks! The Car Park didn't look busy at 5pm so I was surprised to see a sign that said 'Fully Booked'. The four of us stood in the shop but no one came out to greet us. We realised that the place was full due to a Rugby on the TV Event. We decided to buy beers to take home but there was still no sign of any staff. This is the second time that we have visited a Pub recently for a BEER and felt like we were in the WRONG PLACE. Surely not, as this one is also an actual Brewery !! So sadly we Left. Nearly went home in despair but then remembered there is the NEW TITSEY BREWERY just at the back of Tatsfield so we went there instead. Got Beer and Burgers. Lots of Staff! Maybe it could do with a few more customers! Give it a try!More

Lovely place. Good service. Super beer (especially Alt Ego if you are coeliac). I went into the shop to buy some cans and they refused my money! Card only, they don’t accept legal tender! I walked!More

The Brewery shares its site with Squerryes Winery and it all goes to make an excellent place to enjoy excellent wine, beer and food. The pizzas we enjoyed are delicious, Italian style thin-based with generous toppings; garlic bread and salad are available as sides. on...other days, curry and pasta are available. The beer is fabulous; over a dozen varieties, including Stand with Ukraine Anti-Imperial Stout, Hop Rocket, a Pacific Coast pale ale and Moravian Rhapsody, a Czech-style, dark lager. Eat inside or out and order drink and food from your table, served by friendly staff, then buy some cans to continue the session at home. Very enjoyable.More

Wait time was 45 minutes, we were ok with that seeing as it was Father’s Day my husband wanted to make the most of the beers on offer. After an hour I checked on our order only to be told it was on its way....We continued to wait, my husband asked again and it turned out our order had got lost. I received an email from Piers offering me a round of drinks as compensation. Very kind gesture, but why would I return when it was so bad the first time? Never again! Such a shame as we’re local and we were excited that it could be an alternative to our usual eateries. When the food finally arrived it was good.More

They messed up the order and insisted it was my meatballs when it was arancini for the next table, as I tried to explain to the server. Food was average. Meatballs were supermarket quality, possibly shop bought. Tight structure meant none of the sauce was...absorbed, not at all like authentic Italian meatballs but they’re supposed to be a moules shed si mussels are their speciality, right? Wrong! There were barnacles on the shells, rule #1, these should ALWAYS be removed. Basic mussel prep. The mussels ranged from a healthy orange to an insipid pale, almost white. The sauce/liquor was bland and under seasoned. The next day the true quality of the mussels was revealed. We will not be returning, how they have a two night stint is beyond me.More

We popped in for an early afternoon ale while in the area. During our visit, there were no other customers on site. A visit to the bar, the purchase of ale and an enjoyable afternoon on the seating outside. No complaints with our visit and...the ale was nice. We would return if in the area. When we arrived, shortly afterwards, a van pulled up selling food, that looked like it was going to be there for a while. Staff were pleasant and courteous.More
