Selected by friends and a long drive for us. However, boy was it worth it. Meet and greet was good, table layout spacious and most importantly the food was lovely. No point in saying more as this is simply a great place to eat and...More

Stayed here for one night and cannot recommend this beautiful boutique inn more highly. They describe themselves as a restauratn with rooms, both to a very high standard. A bar area offers a more casual dining ambience with a separate room for more formal dining....More

Dear Alex J, I am so very sorry to learn that you did not enjoy your experience at The Inn and that your Scallops, followed by Mallard, washed down with a cheeky little Sangiovese, were not to your taste. Clearly if your preference would have...More

The Inn has long been a reliable choice for anyone wanting good food, well served in pleasant surroundings. The wine list is interesting and there are wines for a wide range of price points. Occasionally there are some interesting pairings of flavours on the menu,...More

Beautiful decor and the nice thing for us, as we were with an older friend, was that there were no children running around - buggies and toddlers not allowed here. Lovely elegant decor. Friendly efficient service. Husband and I shared a starter of the chicken...More

I had the squid and the crab cakes. Squid was good, although a little oily. A quick dab with a bit of kitchen role before leaving the kitchen would have solved it. The crab cake was similarly oily and far too salty. The main i.e....More

Very disappointed with the food, service and the whole experience. I know lots of people rave about this place, However we had bad food and scatty service. Over priced cheap food that wasn't even cooked correctly.

Children that will sit at table for breakfast lunch or dinner are welcome, but not if only for a drink. We don't have a children's menu but happily make a smaller portion of something for them.

Pub and restaurant with twelve boutique rooms located on the A322 just 3 miles from J3 of the M3 in the Guildford direction. It is open from 7 am for breakfast, midday for lunch and 6pm for dinner. The bar is open 11am to 11pm daily. The twelve beautiful rooms were opened in 2015 and are fantastic value starting at £125 for the standard rooms to £150 per night for the larger rooms. The pub and restaurant has been completely refurbished by Gerry and Ann Price who have owned the property for seventeen years. The food is all fresh, modern British and the sauces are homemade and very good. Game is from Windsor Great Park, fish mainly from Cornwall. There are always two and often three beers on handpump and the wine list if fantastic. Breakfast is served from from 7 am, lunch from 12 midday and dinner from 6pm.
