We ate fish and chips from here about 12 months ago and they were possibly the worst we had ever eaten. We heard that they had improved so we gave it another try. What a transformation! Pleasantly surprised by the quality. Well done.

Very disappointed with the food from this cafe. The fish was greasy, the chips looked over cooked and had a burnt taste to them, and the sausages were bland. Perhaps we caught a bad day but we won’t be visiting again to find out. Definitely...More

This place is under new management and I must say the food has been majorly improved! Chips and rissoles are lovely! Food looks and tastes more appealing!

Would appreciate if you could advise me date and time you visited, as I need to check which members of staff were on duty at the time.

OK so my elderly mother often bought some chips over to me on a Wednesday and they were truly awful. But that was a few years ago. I have no knowledge of the staff at the time but the chips were clearly fried in oil...More

Ideal if you like food that's obviously been reheated. Totally inedible and disgusting. Staff were miserable and unfriendly also

Limited opening hours & pretty dreadful staff who can barely be bothered to serve you, in fact they appear lobotomised. Supposed to be open till 7pm but they shut the doors by 6.45pm despite heated cabinet having plenty of food in it that you can...More
