When I say "YUMMY" I truthfully mean it. The service was superb from the moment I enter into the restaurant. The host was assisting other customers at the take out counter but, made eye contact and let me know she would be right with me. Since it was my first time here my server recommended the sandwich in the picture.... More

Friday afternoon lunch was an interesting dining experience. The soup and sandwiches were well prepared and the service was well paced. If you are in a hurry this is not the place to go. I ordered a club wrap with no mayo and was served a club sandwich with mayo, I accepted the meal since I did not want to... More

We stopped here on our way to NC - got off the highway to see Roanoke and saw the good reviews. Lovely large cafe with local art on display. Great casual atmosphere and friendly service. My husband got what they call a Surimi (mixture of snow crab and Alaskan pollack fish) salad and I got it as a wrap. Quite... More

Different styles of sandwiches and meals. Fried green tomatoes were good but not worth the price. Save room for dessert

Just happened upon this local favorite around 1pm on a Monday and they were very busy. The menu seems to have something for everyone's taste. I enjoyed the chicken bean chili to start and the sandwich special which was a vegetarian delight. The restaurant is very open and clean on apperiance. The kitchen staff seemed very cool and collected cooking... More

What a cute little place that serves fresh local food. Between the two of us we had a sandwich, salad, soup and a piece of cake. All were delicious! We were the first to answer the daily trivia question & got one of our meals for free!

We went to the Wildflour on the recommendation of our B&B host. It was a great experience and lovely atmosphere. However, I have a small appetite but really fancied the combined crab cake & steak dish with the accompaniments but knew Iit would be too much for me. I asked the waitress if it would be possible to have everything... More

My favorite salad in Roanoke! The Italian is a meal on it's own but add the cheddar tomato soup and you have a healthy comfort-food filled meal. Also the cakes, the cakes are to die for, I recommend the traditional yellow cake with chocolate icing or the lemon!

We arrived at the restaurant and ordered 2 salads with dressing. 45 minutes later, pour salads arrived without dressing. The AC was not on and the place was very hot. The manager did apologize for the slow service citing a new kitchen crew and he did offer to take some off our bill, but by then we were just ready... More
