Whenever I'm in town on business or for a convention, Murphy's is a traditional stop. You know it must be good, because all the local cops, fire jocks & EMTs go there. It's a little bit of Irish heaven. The interior is warm and cozy like an Irish pub should be, with plenty of music and laughter. Everyone is so... More

We stopped in for the Fish and Chip dinner and sat by the fire place. The battered Cod fish was outstanding and the drinks were also good.

Stopped in at almost closing and got some Wings and a few drinks. Bartender looked out and made sure the ordered slipped in before the kitchen closed. The Jameson BBQ Wings were on point. Good stuff!

Stopped in for dinner and was pleasently surprised with 1/2 priced entrees and beers. My wife had the Irish stew and I had the pot pie, both were excellent.

Open during the off season, friendly staff, food was good freshly prepped and made, selection could have been a bit broader. Had a great selection of draft and bottled beer and wine. They had great live band playing traditional and pop Celtics music, fiddle and guitar. I could hear them fine with out a speaker, but the speakers seemed to... More

Fresh local seafood, excellent irish pub fare and a pint of your favorite beer. NESN on the tv before the music starts up every night except Tuesday. Everyone leaves having made new friends as you sing along from visitors to locals that are regulars. The hint of peat from the fire place is a nice touch.

In town for the weekend and wanted to try something new. My son wanted to try some Irish fare. We found the ad for Murphy's in the hotel and figured we'd give it a try. My wife is disabled and has a service dog. They accommodated us with no issues. The staff was wonderful and made sure to be cafe... More

Went here Christmas Evening with the family and everyone left happy. We ordered Irish meat and potato pie, corned beef with cabbage, fish tacos, and a burger with salad. Fresh veggies came with the 2 Irish meals and cottage fries (really, good slabs of potato) with the burger. The tuna for the tacos was cooked rare as asked. The 20-minute... More
