This restaurant was such a great find! It’s hard to find an authentic, delicious Italian meal but Maurizios serves up the best Italian meal we have had in years! Excellent food, amazing service and a trip to Sicily right in Williamsburg!!

Beware hidden charges to use a credit card for mediocre overpriced food. I used to enjoy this restaurant but will not be back
We stumbled upon this place by chance, and were very happy we did. The pizza and pasta were great, and the service matched. We will definitely be back next time we visit Williamsburg.
So my family and I arrived in Williamsburg very early before the park opened, so we decided to grab a bite to eat. We weren’t really in the mood for the usual fast food, so we found this place on Yelp and decided to give...it a try. First thing’s first. The decor screamed authentic Italian. It was very warm and welcoming and when you first walked in there were wine bottles displayed on shelves for sale. Once we were seated by the very friendly hostess, the equally friendly waitress immediately began to attend to our needs and was very helpful with recommendations on the menu. After receiving our drinks and ordering our food, she brought out two baskets of the most delicious Garlic Parmesan Rolls I have ever eaten from a restaurant in my life! I had to force myself to stop eating them so I’d have room left for my meal! Once my meatball marinara sub arrived I was surprised by the size of it! After eating those rolls I could only eat half of the sub! But the half I did eat was perfect! After finishing the meal and asking for to-go boxes, our waitress not only provided them, she boxed up the leftovers herself! I can’t wait to come back to Williamsburg just to eat here again!More
Beware, if you plan to use your bank debit card to pay your bill to avoid credit card fees you will be surprised that they charge$2.69 cents as well. Also if you order an entree and the waiter asks if you want caesar dressing on...your salad which comes with the entree, you will be charged for a caesar salad an additional $3.99 and if he asks if you want anchovies which normally comes in the dressing you will be surprised to hear it costs another$ 2.00 which the waiter does not tell you. After contacting the owner about the many errors in the bill he told my husband to come and he will make it right. Well my husband went and the owner offered my husband $5.00 to drive6 miles when it could have been handled without the drive. When my husband also mentioned the extra charge for the salad he handed my husband another $5.00. The food was ok, the service was ok but his establishment will never see us again and if asked by friends we will advise them to pass and go to another restaurant where prices and policies are more up front..More
Incredible Food , Large Portions. 4 of us went after busch gardens. The garlic rolls they start with are delicious even “non bread “ family loved them.I Ordered egg plant parmesan. Delicious. Pasta & sauce was so fresh and 4 large pieces of eggplant. Would...definitely order it again. We also had the “ meal for 2 “ which is a huge portion they divide and put on 2 large plates. It was a sample of several items and had enough left over for dinner the next day. Highly recommended this wonderful place and will eat here every Williamsburg visit.More
So we are down in Williamsburg just visiting and, we were looking for a great local restaurant and, received a recommendation for Maurizio's! We received the best service from David he was friendly and tentative, makes a fantastic Dark N Stormy ! A fantastic menu...plenty to choose from . We ended up settling on a pizza and OMG! What a great choice we both agreed was the best pizza we've ever had ! I highly recommend Maurizio's and, if you can request David as your server. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience we'll be back!More
We are locals, and this is our go-to restaurant. They make their own marinara sauce and most of their pastas. There are so many entrees we really like, and too many to list here. We always love the bread and salads prior to our entrees....A glass of wine comes in 3 sizes. Love the decor and ambiance. Most of the staff has worked there for years. The owner is always in sight, and making sure everything is running smoothly. One of our absolute favorites in Williamsburg!More
Service was awesome, food was delish. What more would you want. Chicken marsala was tender and delicious. Ravioli was so flavorful. Chances are you won't finish, but leftovers are perfect. Canolli was freshly filled, crispy and flavorful.
The inside of the restaurant is beautiful very clean very well decorated. I thought it was odd that the specials didn't list how much they were. You had to ask the server. Why not List price next to the items? A lunch special for $22...that included five ravioli a salad with one piece of a hard tomato, one piece of cucumber, and some super dry bread was not my idea of a lunch special. in addition, the ravioli with sausage sprinkled on top had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. I was hoping this restaurant would be good but I'm being honest in my review.More
Worst Italian dinner I've ever had! The octopus was like it was made of tire rubber! The octopus was so tough I could not eat it and one of the three tiny clams was served even though it did not open: seafood sin. The tomato...sauce was okay and the pasta was fine, but I couldn't get past the issue with the octopus and a fear that the clams would make me sick. There were about ten in our party and I had just met most of them. Thus, I didn't want to cause a scene. Still, I mentioned the problem with the octopus and how it was the worst Italian meal ever. The server responded with a casual "I'll tell the manager". We had dinner here a very long time ago, when the food was delicious. What happened? Who is checking the food leaving the kitchen? Why would anyone let a customer go away when they are so unhappy? I guess no one cares anymore. There's lots of excellent Italian places to eat in Williamsburg, I'll just go elsewhere.More
This is a very superior Italian restaurant, perhaps the best in Williamsburg, Virginia. Pasta superb, any veal dish quite wonderful, including osso bucco. Try the chicken florentine if you be a fan. Generous portions.
What an amazing dinner!!! Excellent food and excellent service! The owner is such a great guy! We had the most amazing dinner! Can’t say enough good things! Loved the food! Reminded us of being back home in Italy! Grazie!
Very nice place. We had pizza, mozzarella sticks, and it was as good as it possibly could be. This place is close to everything and it is definitely worth a a try . We will come back next time and try more food. Everything we...looked at looked great The service was excellent. The decor was great.More
Last week we visited Williamsburg and mid week we were ready for a nice Italian meal. We decided to try Maurizio’s since it was close to our hotel and had great reviews. We are so glad we did because not only was the food outstanding,...but our waitress Bojana was phenomenal! We ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, Papa’s combo for 2, Riesling, and cannoli and carrot cake for dessert for me, my husband, and daughter. The combo came with spaghetti with large meatball, lasagna, manicotti, ravioli, chicken parmigiana and veal parmigiana, salad, and garlic knots. We even had leftovers. We loved it so much we came back the next night for a pizza pick up. Bojana and the other wait staff all worked together to help each other out to make sure everyone had what they needed. If you visit Williamsburg, you have to go there and get dessert too! Great job Maurizio’s!More
