Just had dinner at Doc's,. We both had fish and chips, usually one of either the fish, the chips or the coleslaw isn't very good however all three were great. Our waiter Terrance was a great enthusiastic efficient server, full points for him. All round good experience.

We were unsure upon entering this establishment ... not the most welcoming greeting from the front end person. Terrance our waiter greeted us with such enthusiasim he washed our concerns away. Terrance shared with us and was a most attentive waiter. The food was an absolute win ... each item on our plates were excellent. Fish was light with a... More

We live on Bainbridge and had avoided Doc's for years after early bad experience. Having heard there was a new chef and much better food we gave it a try once more. The menu is varied but relatively ordinary: meats, pastas, fish, lots of sandwiches. It's basically a diner menu. You walk into a bar area with a lot of... More

Went there for dinner over holidays and order the Northwest Cioppino-supposed to come with clams and mussels (and fennel)--none were present in this dish--not a shellfish in sight-bland watery tomato base with no real bits of fennel to give it that real ciopinno taste (and should have a drop of marsala) and no shellfish-none-nada-yet--when I asked the waitress, she said... We took the ferry to Bainbridge from Seattle on a Sunday afternoon. We walked around the island and were looking for a place for lunch. We found Doc's and got a table overlooking the marina. The seafood chowder was outstanding. This is probably a lot of fun for dinner as well.

Doc's is a staple. It isn't the best seafood on earth, but it has a couple really great dishes, a good beer list, and is consistently dependable. Folks are friendly, and when the weather permits, outdoor dining is really nice. Get: blackened salmon sandwich, kale and bacon salad, tempura prawns. Oh, and the brunch Bloody Mary comes with a slider... More

Ideal lunch stop on a day trip to Bainbridge Island on the Washington State Ferries. Ferry docks about half a mile of easy walking from the restaurant. Walking eiher along the main Bainbridge village shopping street or along the waterfront coastal path. We made a circular tour of it along the coast and then ambling back through the handicraft and... Nice location by marina with a menu that has something for everyone.Food as far as quality was good just didn't like the dirty plastic glasses water and soft drinks were served in.For the price charged you expect real glassware.

Overlooking the marina, a 15 minute walk from the ferry. The service is friendly and efficient. There are good adult beverage choices and the menu is exactly what you would expect in a seaport restaurant. The food is well prepared, but nothing special....and that is a good thing. Definitely seek it out if you have an attack of the hungries... More
