love coming to eat here. Always great service. Good food, great drinks. Great place to gather as a group or just a couple.

Some may think its standard Mexican fare, but every bit is fresh & smells great. The lunch portions are always moderate in size, yet I always leave feeling full. I like the shrimp Fajitas & also the chicken enchiladas with a chili relleno. The soups & stews all have a great aroma that can make you drool. A popular place... More
My wife and I had an early dinner Sunday afternoon. There was only one other couple in the restaurant so service was great. Decor is typical if you are familiar with the Mayan or Azteca chains. Food quality is also similar, but the menu is a bit different. I had the "Green Steak Enchiladas". The green part is a verde... More
I lived across the street from Viva Mexico for a couple of years. I am born and raised in California and I am used to So CA Mexican food. Taco shops, carnitas, real corn chips from tortillas not Tostitos. Viva Mexican has the standard cheese enchiladas and tacos made with pre-made shells and ground beef. The margaritas are very, very... More
We had an above average Mexican meal with excellent service. The restaurant is kid friendly. The only complaint, as others have pointed out, it seems like their menu is priced about $5 per entree above other Mexican restaurants in the area. Recommended.
We have eaten here several times but have found that the service is a great but very sub-par and the prices are expensive versus other restaurants in the area.
I stopped in after work because my coworker visits this place often. It was almost empty at 1610 since everybody was stuck in I5 southbound traffic. I ordered the 2 flatutas combo meal. Portion size was good but I didn't get any tomatoes. No biggie, I'll be sure to request them with my sauces on the side next time. All... More
We went with our family for dinner. The menu was comprehensive and exceptions were made for the smaller members of our group. The chips and salsa were good but the main course was average. The portions are quite large and are not great but not poor either. I had a combo plate and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't impressive... More
Service for lunch was very prompt. The chips are light and crispy, the salsa had kick, the Chili Verde pork was tender, the sauce was tasty. I would go again.
We had a lovely dinner here. Portions are good, and food was delicious. It was across the street from the Liberty Inn, and right off I-5. Family friendly.
