Not, fine dining but nice atmosphere and friendly folks. If you are familiar with genuine Italian cuisine you will be in for a treat. The food is spectacular and reasonable and huge servings. If you like to eat and you like real Italian then you better check this one out. You will be soooo glad you did.

Have eaten here a few times now. Really enjoyed the spaghetti and sausage dish. Friendly, quick service each time - lunch or dinner.

Coming back from an excursion to a state park and a bit of fly fishing, hungry and a little tired my wife and I spotted a restaurant as we crossed the Purdy Spit in fairly heavy traffic. This is a great restaurant. Located on the water, the building has been there a while, giving it charm and a bit of... More

After driving by Massimo's almost every day, friends and I finally stopped for an early dinner after attending a local theater. The restaurant serves Italian style dishes from relatively inexpensive, spaghetti for $9.95 on up. Friends ordered grilled vegetables with their main dish; they were quite pleased. Size of the main dishes were moderate in size, not huge as it... More

We have been here for lunch and dinner several times in the past month. Every meal has been excellent. Great sandwiches at lunch. Last time I had the 7" pizza for lunch and it was just the right size and very tasty. For dinner I have one of the pastas and my husband usually tries a salad. There are many... More

There were 7 of us, and everybody seemed to like their meals. I had halibut on pasta - and the amount of fish was a bit on the small side, but it was good. My grandson's pizza was fabulous, however. We had a nice view of the sunset from out table. I would come here again....for the pizza.

We have been to Massimo a few times. Sitting outside in the summer is wonderful. But this time we sat a table window inside. Still had a nice view and the food and service is wonderful. Highly recommend it.
