The Java was right next to our hotel, the Maritime Inn. We frequented the Java for coffee and pastries. The coffee was excellent and the patries were scrumptious. We also looked at the pottery and probably would have made one if we had more time. Check it out!

My Granddaughter & I had a coffee each which were both yummy. We each painted our own mugs to have fired. The mugs turned out to be very pretty.

Java and Clay is located downtown Gig Harbor on Harborview Dr. It's a great place to meet friends for coffee, tea, glass of wine (or two) and a pastry (or two). There's a cozy fireplace in the cooler months. There are lovely views of the harbor and the great Stanich park is just across the street. Unfortunately, it's torn up... More

I enjoyed the coffee but the menu is very limited so I didn't have anything else. The service is friendly.

This artsy nook off the main road in town was a welcome stop to our tired, recently-traveled family. Service was prompt and friendly and while waiting for drinks, we were able to look at all the artwork painted by customers. Will re-visit if we get back to the area again

I've been three times now and LOVE it! They are really helpful and are willing to answer any and all questions and really help you make an amazing piece! It's a great place for kids and adults. I arrive early morning and it's pretty quiet, with the kids going back to school soon I assume it will be even quieter.... More

Took our grandson here to paint a ceramic that he could take home. He chose a small dog and we all watched while we enjoyed our coffee selections from the bar.

I have not eaten here, but have been here several times to paint pottery and my friend and I both just love it. You choose your piece from the unpainted pieces they have for sale and they provide the paints, brushes, firing, etc. The girls who have helped us have been friendly and professional - lots of fun!

This is a great coffee shop right in the Harbor. The back of the shop is a huge ceramic studio where you can pick the ceramic piece you want to paint, then they put it in the kiln and you pick it up a week later. In the evenings and week-ends it a fun place to hang out.

I love Java & clay cafe! They have painting classes, a party room, and my very favorite "ladies night out". I come here with my friends, family, fiancé, and sometimes even by myself :) the staff are very nice and helpful and the coffee is good. I highly recommend trying them out.
