I go to Hector's to get away from the cookie cutter stainless steel restaurants. This place has character and it still has that locals feel to it. Window table and breakfast is the ticket!

Good for groups, or family or couples. Large choice, Nice decoration, very pleasant people. May be service is a bit long at night. So careful with kids:)

I've been coming to Hectors for years, even before the last renovation. It's a great place to hang for an hour or so and have a nice homey meal. The food is great as well as the people. Great old-timey atmosphere.

After doing some estate drive-bys in Medina we stopped here for dinner. The dark wood & brick, well-lit atmosphere was comfortable and our waitstaff was friendly yet efficient. Free off-street parking behind the building was a real plus. Being a cool fall evening; we tried their mac & cheese - brie, white cheddar, Dungeness crab, in truffle oil topped with... More

My wife and I intended to visit another Kirkland restaurant that turned out not to be open for lunch. We pulled out of our original parking place and turned into Lake Street, starting to discuss our options. Fortuitously, a car pulled out of parking place smack in front of Hector's and we grabbed it. (Parking is always tight in many... More

This place appears totally mismanaged and understaffed. We went on a Saturday around 11 am with our table for 12 reserved, only to find out that they are grossly understaffed. Our table is far from ready. We had to wait a while amid several vacant but uncleared tables but decided to split up instead of keep waiting forever. I would... More

Went for for late brunch. Wanted to sit in dining room, but was forced to sit in the bar. Ordered an omelette, toast was burnt. No butter and jam for the toast. Waitress never asked if we needed drink refills.

While staying in Kirkland we had a late breakfast at Hectors. It was a busy, popular restaurant, but did not wait long for a table and service.

I'm surprised this place is still in business. The food is almost uneatable. Gross would be a nice term.. Then I could talk about the service, but we received no service.

The 40 year tradition carries on at one of the Northwest's most revered neighborhood establishments. Join us for classic comfort food, prepared from the freshest ingredients, served by a friendly wait staff that makes out-of-towners feel like regulars, and regulars feel like home. The Sunday brunch with our classic Eggs Benedict isn't just a menu item - it's a local institution. Or drop in for a drink in front of the 114-year old carved mahogany bar back, and imagine the stories it could tell you. The original brickwork and cozy fireplaces are still here. So is the longstanding tradition of great food with unparalleled friendly service. We intend to keep it up for at least another 39 years to come. You're welcome anytime, and we'll keep the fire going for you!
