We stepped into The Long Beach Tavern for some relaxation and music. They had a blues band playing this night, but we decided to not partake in the Valentines dinner special. The place was very busy, and clearly they were not staffed for it. Although VERY nice people, there just wasn't very good service. The food was ok at best,... More

We have a vacation home in Long Beach and we never miss a stop at the LBT. If not for drinks, then definitely for pizza. The Norwegian is loaded with seafood. Here are my 5x5 star notes (five * is best): 1) Food Quality: **** 2) Service Speed / Attention: **** 3) Service Attitude: **** 4) Atmosphere & Clean: ***... More

No frills place where you are elbow to elbow with locals. Karaoke night was fun, and it's a good place to watch a football game. Oh and f you like it and have 800K to spend, you can buy the place--it's been for sale for years.

We stopped for lunh and beers and had a great time watching and eavesdropping on the locals. We were the only out-of-town people in there but we were treated kindly and even people who were leaving waved goodbye to us. They have a good selection of beers on tap and hard drinks too. We had a BLT and a half... More

I was here in September 2016. Stopped in to visit friends. The staff is very friendly. My friend and I split the Halibut and Chips for lunch and they were absolutely superb. Next time I'm back in Washington State, this will most definitely be a stop I will make. The new owners are doing a great job of making this... More

Local dive bar. We didn't eat. Didn't see anything on the menu appealing. Had drinks and sang some karaoke. Talked with some friendly locals. Maybe we will try a pizza next time.

This is my second review for this place. My visits were separated by a year (July 2015 and July 2016.) As in my last visit, service is not great but that does not cost any stars as it is expected. What really blew it for me is we sat in the back (the place was absolutely packed) near the back... More

The "LBT" as the locals call it is nasty. The kind of place bar fights break out. Pool tables & pull tabs. Nasty food and unclean nasty restrooms. If you want to have a beer at the bar sure. Most people seem to be ordering the pizza. But stay away from the rest of the really unattractive food, and does... More

There are few options for Amercan/Chinese food on the peninsula. Chen's or Tai. We are very pleased we have chen's. It's a restaurant the locals go to. It is a very traditionally decored chinese restaurant right on the main draig. The food is what you would expect and there is plenty on the plate. The service is good, good food,... More

My family has been going to Long Beach every other year for 20 years and for what ever reason, never went into the LBT. Well before our trip I check out TA for some new ideas, and saw the reviews about the LBT and the Norwegian pizza. So we ordered a large Norwegian and a large pep for the kids.... More
