First of all this place is not cheap nor is it even affordable for a family in my opinion. My wife and I read the reviews and thought hey the next time we are in Olympia we are going to check this place out. It was HORRIBLE, we ordered a bacon burger and fish and chips, we had our order... More

GoodForYou01- I am sorry that the quality of our food did not meet and exceed your expectations. We bread our fish in-house with breading we made and buy our burgers from the local butcher shop. We have always prided ourselves on being able to offer from-scratch food at a very affordable price. As you may have heard, raising the minimum... More

I had the hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and a hot chocolate. While the hot chocolate was clearly Swiss Miss, it was delicious and came with whipped cream. The food was delicious. Steve's mac and cheese was good but not great. The decor was very diner-y and I would definitely go back.

Looks like a dive--but its a great local treasure. Big portions. Great pie and milk shakes. Chili is world class. Stays open real late.

I love dive bars and diners, and this place fits that bill. It reminds me a little of some of my east coast hang outs. Get breakfast, have a drink, and then go walk the waterfront.

This place used to be a real dive bar and cardroom in the 1970's when I first used to frequent it; I'm back in Olympia now for an extended visit and have been pleasantly surprised by how really great this spot is now. The waitstaff might be offputting for some people, but the food is really basic diner fare from... More

Great breakfast experience while staying at Olympia. Walking from our hotel, easy to find; fast, attentive service. One big veggie omelot, one big pancake with two medium eggs cooked perfectly sitting on top, just like I ordered. Coffee refills nonstop.

Total dive in a good sense.. only been here a few times, food is good, but I can't give it a 4. Their fried chicken is good, and so is their biscuits and gravy.

I received great service from Nora. Very attentive and our food was hot and delicious. My wife had the Mac and Cheese and I had the chili. We traded half of each and had a tremendous food fusion. I hear the place is great for breakfast but have not made it there yet for that meal. They do serve it... More

On the way from Seattle to Portland we stopped at this funky, nondescript joint. Excellent service from the young, inked and attentive staff. Enormous portions. I had the "Flying Saucer," which is essentially biscuit(s) and gravy on steroids. Hash browns that are actually brown and crisp filled half the plate and the Flying Saucer (biscuit, sausage patty, gravy, cheese) filled... More

Nice that this place doesn't close down mid day. Food was good and they have nice vegan/veggie items.Funky, quirky place with the same clientele. Service was ok.
