Spending the night at the Marina, very nice staff running it,and went for a meal at the Fireside. Very obliging waitstaff, but the meal was really disappointing. Mushroom soup good but lukewarm and I left most of potato and carrots that came with the chicken. So much salt in the sauce, that it was impossible to eat and the carrots were... More

Pleasant breakfast with biscuits and gravy - also, eggs benedict uniquely prepared. The service was good but she was overworked - not sure that I could change anything if I ran the place. Excellent view from the porch or inside.

Thanks so much for this review - we are delighted that you enjoyed the "best seller" of biscuits & gravy and our yummy Eggs Benedict.... We also appreciate your commentary on the service and apologize that you felt the pace of the server....something we strive to avoid even in times of high volume. Yes - the views are pretty remarkable... More

I don't really have a complaint about the food here. It is quite good. The service is quite good. But my wife and went at 6:30 for the widely advertised "Ciders and Sliders" that supposedly goes from 4 until closing. But the sliders were gone by 6:30. So we stayed and ordered anyway, and as I said, the food is... More

Thank you for this honest review. We apologize for the disappointment about our promotion. It was quite a surprise to us that so many guests came for these selections - who knew that a "Raviola bun and Italian Sausage" plus a Country Fried Steak" slider would be such a draw? We did not and had a rush on these two... More

This restaurant offers us a nice facade of fresh and local cuisine, but far from delivers. First of all, how can you participate in such a healthy movement, but fail to recycle or compost your waste. At this establishment everything goes in the rubbish to create a large messy, unecological waste stream. The cuisine at Fireside is studded with a... More

We had family in town and had not been to Fireside in quite some time. We were pleasantly surprised at the attentive wait staff and high quality of both appetizers and entrees. The wine list was excellent, as were the martinis. We throughly enjoyed the deserts. Over all, this proved to be an unexpected find in our small town. They... More

We ate dinner here with our daughter and son-in-law before they left on vacation. It was a great dinner out on the deck. Service was excellent and the food fantastic. Lovely evening in the sun!
