Excellent place for couples or small parties. Train cars are intimate and cozy. Perfect for leisurely paced meals and conversation. Outstanding service, varied menu and decent wine list. Pricey, but a great place for special occasions.

The only vegan option was the pasta primavera. There's no sauce, just cooked pasta, veggies, olive oil, lemon juice (?) and a tiny bit of garlic. The other people in my party seemed to enjoy their food, especially the mushroom starter, except the bread was stale. Overall I would probably go back since there aren't a lot of vegetarian friendly... More

We visited here for the 1st time with our son and daughter-in-law and loved the quiet, dimly lit setting. We ordered crab cakes for an appetizer which were good and we all enjoyed our different entrees. The Chicken Marsala is really good!

Went to Monterosa in the train car for a Tuesday night wine tasting and dinner. The wine was cab from three continents served and described by the owner, Aaron. A fun way to start the evening. My dinner was a delcious green salad and Seafood capellini ( not on the menu but they were happy to substitute the capellini for... More

Outstanding Italian food in a vintage train car to lend a different atmosphere to your Dinning venture. We have been here numerous times and it is always very good. The service is prompt, courteous, and helpful. I have had a lot of Chicken Marsala in many Italian restaurants, some good, some not so good but none better than what Monterosso's... More

I love trains so this one was a no-brainer to visit. Nice atmosphere, great food and good prices, pity the train wasn't moving though, or maybe they should add some of those special windows that Hogwarts Express has down in Florida!!

Monterossas food and wine pairing events are the best. They provide excellent food combined with interesting wines and a great education.

First off this restaurant is located in an old Pullman dining car. The food is plentiful and superb, the wine list is extensive and the staff pay real attention to detail to make your dining experience something to cherish. The only downside is that there is no way a disabled person could dine here due to there only being a... More
