The Dockside Grill is a hidden gem down at the John Wayne Marina. We've been going there since they opened and am always amazed at the quality of the food and service. We are so lucky to have such a talented chef so close to home.

My husband and I ate here last night. At 5:15 PM with very few tables being occupied we had to wait an interminable amount of time to order our food. The food itself was good although the flat steak was a bit tough. My husband's prawns were forgotten and when they finally arrived they were not worth $7.50. We ordered... More

Had a fabulous meal. Try the salmon on cedar plank or the cioppino. Both were excellent. We all loved our meals and especially the house made proprietary dressing which was awesome!

This small restaurant deserves the kudos it received in previous reviews (and which led us to try it on a day trip to the Port Angeles area). The restaurant is small but the food is exquisitely prepared and presented. My spouse said it was the best crab she'd ever had, and the portion was very large. My almond shrimp were... More

We ate here three times during our long weekend visit to Sequim last year. We are driving back just for another fabulous dinner again this month!

What a great meal & a great atmosphere plus a view of the marina! This is a small grill with maybe 15 tables. It is popular and on the weekend fills up fast. The place was full on a Friday night when four of us went, the place was full with people waiting, but the noise level was fine, even... More

Visiting Sequim we read Trip Advisor reviews and decided to take our friends (who live in Sequim) to the Dockside Grill for lunch, the day after Christmas. All of us order the ale-battered halibut. It came with either regular fries or sweet potato fries. Two of us requested that a salad be substituted for the fries. This request was granted... More

Dockside Grill was recommended to us by the B&B we were staying at. The place is quite small, so reservations are a good idea. We arrived and were seated right away. Drinks arrived promptly. When our server asked how we were liking our beverages, my husband honestly said he didn't care for his; the server happily replaced his drink with... More

That such an upscale dining experience would be found in this lovely little town! But the Dockside Grille is indeed a find! Chef Steve Little has created a varied and interesting menu, using local foods and adding his own special twists and flavors. And while the food is indeed interesting, it isn't so trendy as to put off a more... More

Knowing from experience that the atmosphere here comes from the view, at the John Wayne Marina outside of Sequim (I was told Wayne owned property and his family donated some of it for the marina), not the minimalist decor, I went for an early Sunday dinner, arriving just before sundown. Considered going for lunch, but after consulting the menus on... More
