We were just passing through and decided to stop for lunch. First off, this is just a place to pick up food with a few outside tables to eat at, so mostly just take out. The Kailua pork was very tender. The white rice I received was over cooked (brown where it was near the pot) and the fried rice... More

This place always gets rave reviews by us and our friends who join us (the group gets bigger every year). Whenever we go, there's always locals getting some yummies (good sign for any place). Waiting 10 minutes for yummy katsu chicken is never a problem. This is more of a grab and go place during cold weather as there isn't... More

I had several questions during my first visit of this local staple. The menu was multi- sized and for multiple tastes. The chicken teriyaki was had by all with the bowl option opted for the smaller appetites and the small plate with stir fried vegetables for the larger. It was more than enough for each of us, and delicious. Meal... More

Aloha Island grill is a cozy little shack located on the north end of town offering Hawaiian BBQ. The establishment offers indoor and outdoor seating as well as a drive through for those on the go. The pricing is fair and in line with other fast food in the area. The menu is simple and easy to read and the... More

Their chicken literally falls off the fork. The rice, on the other hand, is so sticky, you can pick up the whole ball of it with a fork. And don't even get me started on that mac salad! I'm drooling just thinking about it.

Big on personality, the service is friendly and helpful about how food is prepared and how long it will take. Chicken Katsu was very good. The teriyak ichicken was okay - but I'm pretty picky about my teriyaki. If you're craving plate lunch, I would recommend trying this place.

This place is awesome! The food is delicious, the quantities are big and the staff are very friendly even though you can tell they work hard. I myself have never had any problems with the food, I've never gotten any kind of sick fealings at all after eating it and think that it's good quality. The macaroni salad is absolutely... More

We to aloha grill and tried one of their teriyaki chicken rice bowls. For 4.00 it was a lot of food. Not the best best a good value for cheap.

We were real excited to try this place as it was recommended by a friend and we don't have any local food places where we live but we have many family members from Hawaii and it just didn't meet our cravings for local food. Our teriyaki chicken wasn't like the photo, it was all broken up in pieces. The chicken... More

I personally get the teriyaki chicken every time I go (I go to the one on Francie) I think it is absolutely awesome. I did try the kahlua pork once, and it was ok, but not of the same caliber at the chicken in my opinion. The problem is it is a fast food place with not very nice seating... More
