We had a very good meal here. Very good elk burger and much to big sandwich. And ... the best huckleberry lemonade ever. Not overpriced as I mistakenly assumed in advance. Service was friendly but kitchen is a bit slow. We were here on a sunny day and enjoyed our meal outside with amazing views.

Visited a few days earlier just to see Mount St. Helens, summit covered in mist. This time clear blue skies, sunny day, had lunch and a couple of beers. Dining on the patio with relatives, wonderful views, couldn't be better.

We were expecting regular cafe quality food and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of food! My side salad included broccoli, peppers, tomatoes and chunky blue cheese on a bed of greens. The burgers and fries were great but the absolute best was the maionberry cobbler! I should have gotten some to go, it was to die for!!

We stopped on our back from Mt. St. Helens for a late lunch and had the elk burgers. The service was friendly and the food good. There is a nice view from inside the restaurant of the valley and an even nicer view from out on the terrace. You can see Mt. Hood on a clear day from here.

We ate lunch here while sightseeing around Mount St. Helens. View from the patio is great. You can get a real feel for what happened and the damage wrought when the volcano blew 36 years ago. We ordered sandwiches which were HUGE. Service was good and prices were mid-range. If you are in the area, this is a good place... More

We arrived tired and hungry after spending an incredible day at Mt. St. Helens. I had asked a gift shop employee for a recommendation for a restaurant. He stated that there was one at Hoffstadt Bluffs Visitor Center but he did not know what they served. What a wonderful surprise! We were seated at a table on the outside deck,... More

We stopped here on our way to Johnston Ridge Observatory on a beautiful sunny warm day. This was frankly a bathroom stop that turned into much more because of the inviting setting. The menu is really heavy on fried or high carb food, so I settled on a salad. I have to say it was very fresh and the blue... More

Stayed here for lunch after our helicopter tour and were not disappointed. So many restaurants at visitor centers are poor food and high prices - this was different. I had an excellent chicken bacon ranch sandwich and my husband had a bacon burger. My salad was ordinary, but my sandwich was fabulous! The chicken was not overcooked (a common problem)... More

Great views and very spacious restaurant and visitor center. Nice stop for food on your trip to Mt St Helens. Decent menu, but the big specialty is the Bigfoot Burger.....5 cheese topped paties with onion rings and cheese sticks added between the bun too. Eat it all in 30 mins and you get a free t-shirt. We didn't even attempt... More

We arrived at about 1:55, so the lunchtime rush had either finished or never got going. There were a few occupied tables, but significantly more empty ones. We stood at the "wait here" sign and someone shouted across that they would be with us very soon, so we waited. After a while, someone shouted across that they would be with... More
