We had sandwich platters from this shop at a meeting. They were very good! I loved the bread - wish they had a bread with more whole grains. I had two small sandwiches- roast beef and turkey. The bread and vegetables are so good I did not need mayonnaise or mustard! That is the sign of a good sandwich to... More

My favorite? Combo Cozmo with sliced peppericinis and black olives! Great locally owned small chain of delis. Lunch time lines but they are quick. Fresh daily Sub bread is made locally just for them. When they are out for the day, you are out of luck, but fortunately doesn't happen often and not until late dinner hour.

Meconi's subs are like great east coast subs, the best around. But make sure to go to the Olympia location, the Tumwater location makes subs more like west coast subs (too much fillers). Haven't tried the Lacey location so can't speak to it.

Meconi's used to be the place to go for great subs. They moved to a much nicer building and now it's a place for a large sandwich fast. A big extra soft bun with lunch meat and shredded lettuce. But what do I know? it's always busy at lunchtime.

The sandwiches, soups and service are the best! Their bread is fresh baked, the ingredients are fresh and all sandwiches are made to order. Their veggie sandwich is enough for two meals and the meat sandwiches are even bigger. Meconi's has been a part of the Olympia/Lacey culture for decades and literally packed during the lunch ours. Calling ahead for... More

Been here twice in the last week. The gluten free sub rolls are fantastic. Baked fresh daily. Also love their potato salad. Staff is fast, efficient and gluten safety knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

It's hard to imagine that subs can truly be different across restaurants, but these subs are the best. It's the bread, the dressing, and the cheese. They have the perfect recipe for authentic Italian subs. It's a really inexpensive lunch too. Great soups, potato salad too, and they're fast and efficient. If you're gluten free, their bread is actually really... More

The food is very authentic EXCEPT the "Hot Italian Sausage Sub" is, in fact, NOT hot Italian sausage but rather is heated up sweet Italian sausage! Ha-ha...still so good that they are forgiven.

Typical local sandwich spot but so untypically high quality! Great ingredients and bread make for unforgettable sandwiches...don't miss Meconi's!
