Great place conveniently located in the Tygart Lake Lodge. Food and service was great but unfortunately they are apparently closing soon permanently. I'm guessing they lost the franchise at the State Park (although I'm not sure.)

My wife and I recently spent 2 nights at tygart lake lodge and ate here both nights. I recently read a couple of bad reviews and I was a little concerned. However, our experience was excellent. The view was great, the food was great, and the service couldn't have been better. The prices are very reasonable, and they have some... More

The food is wonderful here. Its quiet, relaxing and you can view the Tygart lake at its finest. The waitresses are really nice and Jada is my favorite. The reubensa re to die for and the fish is also great. A great little place.

We got our drinks then sat there for about 20 minutes before we were approached again by what I'm guessing was a manager asking if they'd taken our order. We... More

Icy cold beer and good food at a very good price! Nice views of the lake, and a relaxing atmosphere. Nice little restaurant at a state park; convenient for those visiting the park.

Our party was 6 including 2 infants and a 69 yo w/ a bad knee, so I went in ahead and told hostess station (3 girls standing there) that we needed a table and what accommodations we needed and that I was going back to car to retrieve my 69 yo and 2 infants. There was NO other customers waiting... More

We stayed at the Lodge so The Beanery is the most convenient choice for breakfast. The menu was quite large and the prices are very affordable. There are many combination breakfasts on the menu and they all appeared to be hungry man sized. The server was friendly and the view is spectacular. Serving began at 8:00 AM which fit our... More
