John's Cafe is one of those rather small, and not too fancy restaurants that might fool you into not knowing just how great it is! John and his wife and daughter have a great menu that includes traditional Greek items that are fantastic (just try the pasticio..!). But the also have great seafood and significant number of nnlon-Greek selections! It's... More

The food was good but i believe if they put the AC on on the hot summer days they would get more customers

We have been regulars at Johns since it opened, the family that runs it are great and so is the food! I love the Spanakopita and Souvlaki, their burgers are great, excellent salads etc.

Someone gave this restaurant 1 Star, and that's absolutely ridiculous. Sometimes my family and I eat at John's once a week. This restaurant should be nothing less than #1 in Ranson. Here's why: 1. The food is great. Nothing on the menu is bad, and no one in my family has ever been upset about the quality. My personal favorites... More

Great place for dinner or lunch. Nothing wrong to say about this place. Gyros & baklava are off the hook! Owner also prepares the food and is down to earth. Wait staff is very attentive and friendly. They will recommend and explain the menu without hesitation if you need. Everything eaten here was great!

We were told that this place has great Greek meals, the restaurant is small but the food is fantastic. Staff is pleasant and food was served out so quickly after ordering for having one person behind the counter

Family owned with great Greek and American items. I hear the burgers are good but I am personally stuck on the Aegean salad topped with Gyro meat. Delicious. Great home, are baklava etc.

Everything was bad. From the iced tea to over fried, chewy food. Couldn't finish dinner and got upset stomach from greasy food. Meat was tough and overcooked. We weren't looking for anything fancy. Just didn't want to cook at home.

Who would guess you could get great Greek food in the middle of nowhere?! What a fabulous traveling surprise! As our family was making its way across country - leaving a vacation in the nation's capital - we stumbled across this gem in Ranson, West Virginia. Huge menu of American classics, featuring superb Greek food, too. Worth a detour just... More
