They don't know how to make a cosmo. The potatoe soup was cold and not very good. The muscles had some unusual concoction on them that made the flavor non discript. Our grand son's grilled cheese was over done while my wife and daughter's pizza was burned. We waited 2 hour for this disappointment.
Allen, I appreciate your comments but tend to not pay much attention to customers whom I have had to ask to leave my restaurant. I know sir that you cannot pick your family, but when your son was so verbally abusive (with completely inappropriate language in front of your grandchildren)and physically pushed me away from your table I had enough.... The food was very good and they had a great selection of beer on tap. The waitress was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of very well.
Our hostess at a local BnB pointed us to Lake Street Cafe for a late Saturday evening meal. We got there about 9:45, and their sign said they stop serving at 10:00, but Thomas very kindly and efficiently waited on us and said they flex for their clients regularly. Thank you! We split a beet and fennel salad - almost... More
This was rather unassuming from the outside and even on the inside. Don't let that fool you and to me it really adds to the charm of the place. It is absolutely amazing food without having to go to a formal restaurant. This is one of the best and favourite restaurants I have been to in the US.
Atmosphere, service, & food were great. Only downside was they were cutting onions in the food prepraration area, causing our eyes to tear through lunch. The setting is all open and I guess we were simply 'downwind'. lol
We live nearby and hands down this is our favorite restaurant in the area. When friends visit from out of state or even out of the area we often bring them here to eat. Great menu which is all very affordable too. It's a fun place, very lively, with a nice crowd. We have 5 kids and they all enjoy... More
This place was amazing. The flank steak sandwich was super delicious! They have spotted cow on draft! What more does a girl need?....oh yeah....the roasted brussel sprouts and the fried cheese curds...I could go on and on....try it! bring your kids! It is family friendly!!!
We were really delighted by this restaurant. We tried many of the appetizers because they peaked our interest. Foie Gras Creme brûlée (ordered because...well how could you not?) Roasted Brussel sprouts with lemon and capers (ordered because I love Brussel sprouts done up) Yellowfin tuna ( ordered because it is served everywhere and so often poorly done) The tuna was... More
Went here because they offered gluten free foods. I was very pleased with my gluten free pizza as my girlfriend enjoyed her wheat pizza very much. We will definitely be returning here many times.

My family is flying in from FL and we are renting a house for 4 days this weekend. They are native Wisconsinites and haven't been home for over 15 years so they want to go out for a Friday fish fry. Would you please tell me what kind of fish you serve, what is included on your fish fry's and the prices? Do you serve broiled or baked fish also? I want to share the interesting fact that we are all in our 50's and as young children in the early 60's we grew up in Elkhart Lake. We lived above your place! It was an apartment above a grocery store at the time called "Peter's Market". So as you can imagine, your place already has some significant appeal to us so we want to come check your place out this weekend. Thanks for your time.
