My girl friend and I ate here on a slow Thursday afternoon. We were the only table in the place, but their were some people at the bar. The outside of the building is an old train station and is quite cool. The cardboard cutouts in the windows are a little unnerving, but kind of funny. The inside of the... More

This place seems to be owned by many people and has trouble it looks like. However the food is good, and the bowling alley is awesome. Really big place and the bar is massive. Service is not great though and it's not for a lack of trying. The staff is young which is great, but they tend to get overwhelmed... More

Went to restaurant on recommendation from another brewery's tour guide. It was great. Their own brewed beer selections were great. The 'poutine' was a fantastic appetizer. The spicy elk burger was probably the best burger I've ever eaten. Atmospher, great location, wonderful staff....are you kidding me?!?! Everything was great. Plan on making a trip back to Green Bay from Ontario... More

This place is huge, clean and looks great inside, however I dislike everything I've tried here, big disappointment.

Awful food service and management. I can't even believe they are still in business. This place needs to ditch the brain dead rude staff and maybe they would have a chance at salvaging this business! If I was the one running this establishment I would start with the horrible bland high priced food and end with the higher ups! You... More

Traveling through Green Bay and decided on this place since it was close to our motel---what a disappointment! We went at 5 pm before any crowds but yet the service was terrible. It was apparent that our waitress was new at this but to disappear to the back was so frustrating as we waited 15 minutes for more coffee. She... More

We attended an informal gathering prior to a wedding. The staff did all they could to make this gathering a comfortable for all as they could. They opened a meeting room and offered bowling discounts to the group. Food was good, too!

The Ale House is a massive sports bar, with a classic 80's motif. Not a bad thing, I'm just sayin'. We ordered a couple of excellent burgers and some wings from their extensive menu. Quite a few sauce choices for the wings, and we tried the Habanero Pineapple....they were terrific...left a nice lingering burn with a sweet tropical note. The... More

The bar is fairly big. As mentioned previously, the restaurant is large. We were here on a Saturday early evening and it wasnt busy at all. Of course its preseason and the university kids aren't back yet. My husband asked if they had any drink specials and he was told "no, not really.". Well almost everyone was ordering a bucket...
