We enjoy stopping here for a beer or for a Friday Night Fish Fry. Of course, they carry a full menu, and there's a great view of the Willow Flowage.

If you ever go "Up North" in Wisconsin don't just rely on the obvious restaurants that you can see from the road. There are so many off of the County Roads such as this one. Take Cty Rd Y (S of Hazlelhurst) West. It will run straight into Willow Dam Rd (watch for the sign) and you continue past the... More

The New England clam chowder was awful. All you could taste was the flour that wasn't made into a roux first. Flour, potatoes and milk yuck! The Fried smelt were as good as I've had smelt fishing at Jude Hyde's Sand Bank Smelt camp in Maine. Too bad the chowdah was so bad.

It was Saturday night and my husband and I along with another couple went to Willow Haven for dinner. You cannot beat the scenic drive to the establishment or their location. The view of sunset over the flowage on a clear and crisp fall evening cannot be matched. The restaurant itself is clean with a friendly atmosphere. Dining room furnishings... More

Tucked away on the Willow Flowage, Willow Haven is a nice family resturant with gorgeous views and a really good Fish Fry. Under new management and some remodel, the Haven is a very relaxing way to enjoy a meal. My husband had the fried fish and I had the broiled. The food was hot and tasty, the fries nice and... More

The Willow Haven is located off of the "beaten path" except for boaters, fisherman and locals. If you have not been there in the past 18 months, then you haven't experienced it today. The new owners started business here for the opening of the 2012 fishing season. SO IF YOU HAVE READ REVIEWS OLDER THAN THAT, DISREGARD THEM. We have... More

Went there for breakfast. Thought it would be nice. The Bloody Mary's were the worse we've ever had. We had four different meals, and all were terrible. One person had Biscuits and Gravy. The biscuits were hard on the outside and doughy on the inside. They were topped off with a paste like gravy that had no taste to it... More

We have eaten at Willow Haven a number of times over the last 20 years. They went downhill for a while, and eventually closed. They're back and as good as ever. A nice casual place, off the beaten path, with a drop dead gorgeous sunset lakefront view. The food and drink are good supper club fare at reasonable prices. Willow... More

We were recently told the Willow Haven reopened so we wanted to give it a try. We arrived around 6pm on a Monday evening. There was a small bar crowd and a few dining. I was surprised it was not busier as when we called we were told it would be best to make reservations. The bartender muddled us some... More
