This place is a true original. I tiny box car type of diner with the grill open to all to see. The staff is super efficient and friendly when they have the time to be. The food just can't be beat. Everything is gigantic portions, so go hungry. I once ordered a cinnamon roll which was a size of a... More

I have been going to Frank's diner, since I was a little girl. It's the same great food with the same great service. They are make it fun and it's always interesting looking around at all the history of the diner on the walls.

Personally my favorite place to get food in the morning. Most people go with the garbage plate, that's what I always hear about. I ordered the Bleu Shu Burger and I seriously can't come to grips ordering anything on the menu after having it. The Bleu Shu burger is the sandwich you've been dreaming about your whole life. I've had... More

My husband and I visited Franks for the first time today. We were out early this morning and it was bitter cold, so I suggested we try it figuring it wouldn't be as crowded as it usually is (per all reports about this place). We were THRILLED with our experience, you walk in and just get in line which entails... More

Our cousins brought us to Frank's Diner on New Year's Eve for late breakfast/lunch. Garbage Plate, burger and fried egg sandwich were awesome! And so we're the Bloody Mary's. Found out that one of the current owners grew up and attended school in our neck of the woods, so we reminisced and chatted with her for awhile. Would definitely suggest... More

We were mini road tripping to pass the time and drove into Kenosha. We stopped at this little gem. Great burger (stuffed with blue cheese). Sons had French toad with home made bread. Great service.

The building and atmosphere were no indications of the "real" foods served at Frank's Diner. The four of us shared a cinnamon bun for starters, delish! The food was served in record time and it was delicious. One fellow sitting outside said "it is worth the wait" and he was right!

An old railroad car converted to a diner. Small dining area, but that's part of the great atmosphere. By far, the garbage plate is what put Franks on the map. Right downton near the lake with a fantastic breakfast. Can't ask for more.
