We popped in for lunch on a sunny Saturday, starting with a mixed platter, mains and sweets, plus drinks. Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere and delicious food, which is exactly what you require. It's just on the outskirts of Maidstone but deep in the beautiful Kent...countryside. A charming building, with low beams in the bar area and a well kept garden area for the warm weather.More

Excellent meal in a wood beamed country pub. Very good quality food. The pub has a good sized car-park and an open fire in the main bar. Theres a well kept garden with outdoor seating.

I visited the Walnut tree with a friend for lunch and we sat in the beautiful garden and I ordered and enjoyed the best chicken and bacon salad I have ever tasted..the presentation and attention to detail in the salad with hebs and not swimming...in sauce. The chicken was well cooked and flavoursome. In all a lovely meal.I would highly recommend that you order this if you want a delightful lunch..in this beautiful venue..a hidden gem in Kent.More

This cosy, welcoming pub is hosted by a great team which goes above and beyond to ensure customers have an enjoyable visit. The Walnut Tree’s varied food menu caters for all diets (and sizes of appetites), and the food itself is tasty and great value....Everyone including the dog had a lovely time! Highly recommended.More

Absolutely delicious Sunday Lunch. The staff were friendly and catered for our table of ten with ease giving us a space of our own so that kids could be kids without bothering others. Also very clean! We would thoroughly recommend.

This pub provides good quality food, at reasonable prices. Drinks are over priced. The only issue that we would have is that the service was rather slow, and whilst we were not in a particular hurry, if you were looking for a prompter meal, such...as a business lunch, you would find it frustrating.More

This pub never disappoints. Another delicious meal in this charming and countryside pub. Service is very friendly and polite. They recommended the fish platter which we shared and it was delicious. My meal was gorgeous too and the salted caramel and chocolate was divine too....Looking forward to returning soon.More

Hi Steve, You can gain access via the garden to the dining area. Or there are a few table by the bar area that is accessed by the door leading from the car park. Many thanks Paul
