Highly recommend the fondue and any of their desserts. Wine selection is good, too. Clean restaurant and fast service, even with a big crowd. On the weekends they have a polka band. A little on the pricey side, but still great food.

The brunch at the New Glarus Hotel is very good. The brunch on Sunday begins at 10:30 a.m. - it is worth the wait. We were seated promptly and brought warm rolls. They have a salad bar with the tastiest cheese spread. You can purchase a container to take home. Then you move on to the breakfast/lunch items. The prime... More

We dropped in for a quick drink and spent over 2 and half hours there. Listen to the live music, which included polka music. People were up dancing. Casual place with a great staff. Meet some funny moms from Minn. Had a ball.

Excellent Swiss food, but the real reason to come here is the polka band and dancing on the weekends. The average age of the dancers may be in the eighties, but the bands are fun and the people friendly.

Great restaurant with lots of food choices and a buffet that allows you to try a number of their menu items.

My husband and I had dinner here and both had the jaegerschnitzel. Incredibly light and tender. Came with spatszli and I had a side of red cabbage. Excellent dinner. Charming atmosphere with live musical entertainment on Friday night. Server was friendly. We would come back.

The hotel is long closed, but a good eatery remains and serves a nice variety of dishes, including American and Swiss entrees. Seating on the porch lets you watch people on the main street, a pleasant environment.
