I was recommended to come here while in town for work. I thought the food was very good, but was highly disappointed by the wait staff. While being one of few people in the pub for lunch it took beyond 15 minutes to have my waitress come to the table and then another 20 for her to ask for my... More

Great casual place to meet up with friends and family for drinks and food. Plenty of space and the food is very good! Our party had all different meals and all were very satisfied. We come into town once a year and we always make mulligans a stop.

Good variety and value for lunch. Our table had cheese curds, burgers, and fish tacos. Very tasty! Eclectic atmosphere with various antiques.

Unique pub on main street, just near the AmericInn Hotel, and a short walk from the Island. Food was good, though I thought the prices a bit up there. If you like a PUB atmosphere you'll enjoy... I'm not one for pubs, but those I was with wanted to go...but can at least say the food was good. Rating is... More

Stopped in on a Monday night for a business dinner and had a great Cod dinner. The meal was great, the curds were FANTASTIC!! Good service is the norm here and Spotted Cow on tap so it makes this a great stop when in Prairie du Chien.

Great food, fun atmosphere. Has an old world flavor, was three minutes from the hotel, right outside the door.

This is always our stop when we are in Prairie du Chien. They were fairly busy today and it was 2:30 or after, but we only waited for 10 minutes to be seated. Our drinks were brought out and order taken quickly. We also did not wait long for our food. My husband had the French dip and I had... More

Positives: service-oriented waitress, good Texas toast and Cajun chicken penned (add some broccoli and it would be perfect), smooth October Fest beer. Very cool old building. Good location downtown. Suggestion: a head lettuce salad out of a bag doesn't cut it anymore.

We stopped in and had a beer and appetizer. Had we not had other plans for dinner I would have liked to have eaten there as they have a very nice menu. It has a nice decor; historic, comfortable.
