Stopped in on a Monday night for a business dinner and had a great Cod dinner. The meal was great, the curds were FANTASTIC!! Good service is the norm here and Spotted Cow on tap so it makes this a great stop when in Prairie du Chien.

Great food, fun atmosphere. Has an old world flavor, was three minutes from the hotel, right outside the door.

This is always our stop when we are in Prairie du Chien. They were fairly busy today and it was 2:30 or after, but we only waited for 10 minutes to be seated. Our drinks were brought out and order taken quickly. We also did not wait long for our food. My husband had the French dip and I had... More

Positives: service-oriented waitress, good Texas toast and Cajun chicken penned (add some broccoli and it would be perfect), smooth October Fest beer. Very cool old building. Good location downtown. Suggestion: a head lettuce salad out of a bag doesn't cut it anymore.

We stopped in and had a beer and appetizer. Had we not had other plans for dinner I would have liked to have eaten there as they have a very nice menu. It has a nice decor; historic, comfortable.

We were looking for a unique place to stop for a late lunch and came across this restaurant. It was 3:30 and the place was very busy so we knew it must be good. We had a 10 minute wait only. Food was very good and restaurant was very clean. Service was fast and you didn't have to wait too... More

This place was very good! We started with the cheese curds and the were the best we've had. Also, had the buffalo chicken sandwich with waffle fries and it was just as good. The waitress was attentive and friendly. Hostess was polite and quickly sat us. Definitely on the list to go back too!

Nice relaxed place to eat. Good menu with appetizers, sandwiches and dinners. Had the chicken tortellini and hubby had the ribeye. Both were very good. Neat old limestone building downtown. Glad we stopped here, would eat again.
