I like going there but I think it is a bit over priced for what you get. but is average for that type of café. the food is good and I enjoyed my visit there. nice wait staff.

I went to the Blue Spoon to purchase a gift certificate for the holiday season. I selected the Blue Spoon because I heard a lot about the food so I purchased it in hopes that the recipient of the gift card would enjoy it as well.

Today was just the same as all the days we have lunch at the Blue Spoon, great. The swiss and mushroom burger was excellent, the red potato salad was very good and my wife liked her ham sandwich as well. Of course the view is wonderful.

Don't let this place fool you. It's owned by the same company that had Culver's Frozen Custard. This is more than a fast food place on steroids. A good variety of quality food. The view of the Wisconsin River isn't bad, either!

I enjoy going to this restaurant in the morning. During the winter, you often can see Eagles. In the warmer months, the patio has great seating with a view of the Wisconsin river. The pancakes are the best. Made with custard ice cream. I like many of their breakfast items.

We stopped for an early lunch during the town's Eagle Watching Days. It had been recommended by our business tour guide. Very good choice. There is a second level and we were able to sit at a table that overlooked the river. We were able to watch a bald eagle that was perched in a tree while we ate. The... More

My husband was in the area for a work trip, so I had a few meals at the Blue Spoon Cafe, and enjoyed all of them. I had the Eggs Benedict one morning and they were excellent - the hollandaise sauce wasn't overly rich and had the right amount of lemon in it. I also tried the Peanut Butter-Caramel Onion-Pickle... Reasonable prices and a unique variety of food make this place a must stop. Try the peanut butter pickle burger. Very good.

Love the Friday night fish special. Very quaint. Menu is posted behind counter on wall. They serve gelato and wine. Outside seating in the back and upstairs dining also.

I had the chopped avocado salad, which was delicious. Coming from Chicago, I did not find the prices expensive at all. Very nicely decorated also.
