We expected typical bar fare....not so! We did not have a reservation on a Saturday night and the wait was 30-45 minutes so we opted to eat at the bar. Good choice! The bartender was a very attentive server. Got dietary issues? This restaurant is...More

This place is a gem hidden in the Northwoods. Storefront place in the middle of the block downtown. Very surprising menu, sandwiches, pizza and full dinners. Best beef tips I've ever had. Served with home made fresh spaetzel. I wanted to lick the dish! My...More

There were four of us that went. Each dish that we got we all thoroughly enjoy. Definitely a really nice bar and a great place to go for a nice dinner.

I am not a very fancy guy, but this was just bad. When 25% of the mussels we ordered didn't open, the Cesar salad was drenched, and the lobster bisque (served after the main dish) didn't contain a single piece of lobster I should have...More

Great food and very good prices. 6 people ate for our group all food was delicious and hot. We were the last guest and they told us we could stay as long as we wanted. Wine and drinks were affordable also. Decent selections of both...More

Our organization meets in three different communitees for a monthly dinner meeting. Of the three supper clubs, the Brick is preferred. The tenderloin special cannot be beat. Service is always top notch.

Went here on a whim. We have been to Denver, Steamboat, San Diego, Chicago, and Minneapolis in the last year. We are not foodies (or try not to be) but will pay more for smaller portions of good food. We were surprised! Good for Rhinelander...More

Great salads. I will try something else on the menu when I return in 2 weeks. Darn, should have taken a photo.

I have never been disappointed in my meal at the Brick. I have heard that the fish fry is very good too so that is next on my list!

A Rhinelander favorite of mine. If you are looking for something besides the usual steak & potato meal, this is the place for you!

Hi! it is still the wonderful recipe that Chef Wes had at the Thirsty Whale! Most dishes do have garlic in the sauce, but I'm sure he could make it without. We've been in Rhinelander since May of 2014. Everyone here has been... More

The Brick is a wonderfully cozy restaurant with a menu that varies from pizza and sandwiches to a beautifully plated entree of pasta, fish or meat. It is located in a northern Wisconsin vacation community. The chef bought this bar and restaurant that was in need of some love and good food and has turned it into a highly sought after dining experience complete with the required Wisconsin Friday Fish Fry!
