Our dinners were delicious, service ok. We had not been to the Brick since it moved. The food was as great as always.

Stopped on our way home after a trip to see our daughter. Took a seat at the bar. The bar tender was not very pleasant. It was almost like we were bothering her, yet she was pleasant enough with people she knew whom she greeted...More

Dinner on a saturday night was good, big menu to choose from and prices are very reasonable. Only complaint is that the service was pretty slow - took almost 10 minutes before our server even came to our table after we were seated. From our...More

Went out to The Brick to celebrate a friend's birthday & what seemed like a simple storefront was anything but. We had originally just gone out for drinks but the aroma coming out of their kitchen had me want to try something. The menu was...More

This place is a gem hidden in the Northwoods. Storefront place in the middle of the block downtown. Very surprising menu, sandwiches, pizza and full dinners. Best beef tips I've ever had. Served with home made fresh spaetzel. I wanted to lick the dish! My...More

There were four of us that went. Each dish that we got we all thoroughly enjoy. Definitely a really nice bar and a great place to go for a nice dinner.

I am not a very fancy guy, but this was just bad. When 25% of the mussels we ordered didn't open, the Cesar salad was drenched, and the lobster bisque (served after the main dish) didn't contain a single piece of lobster I should have...More

Hi! it is still the wonderful recipe that Chef Wes had at the Thirsty Whale! Most dishes do have garlic in the sauce, but I'm sure he could make it without. We've been in Rhinelander since May of 2014. Everyone here has been... More

The Brick is a wonderfully cozy restaurant with a menu that varies from pizza and sandwiches to a beautifully plated entree of pasta, fish or meat. It is located in a northern Wisconsin vacation community. The chef bought this bar and restaurant that was in need of some love and good food and has turned it into a highly sought after dining experience complete with the required Wisconsin Friday Fish Fry!
