Enjoyed the old times feel and the wonderful home made desserts. Nice variety of food - friendly staff - and they still take checks !

Great food with very friendly and outgoing staff. Waited on immediately, food came very quickly and was reasonably priced. Pies are obviously home made and were wonderful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants good food.

We were attracted to this restaurant because of the building. The restaurant is housed in an old brick building, and we were expecting charm inside. Nope. This place was gutted and it is far from attractive. I mentally redecorated the room ripping out cheap booths and tables, tearing up the filthy carpet, and exposing the brick walls from behind the... Breakfast is hearty. Giant cinnamon roll was fantastic: light not overpowering cinnamon. Staff is fun and welcoming.

The service was quick and friendly. The food was prepared and served within a timely manner, and tasted great! A good place for any meal of the day. Shout out to the cooks, they know what they're doing!

We make it a point to eat here every visit. They have really good breakfasts and the best biggest cinnamon rolls ever! We have eaten here for dinner too before and that was good too. Great food, great service for a great price.

I've had lunch here several times and it is always good, but the home-made cinnamon rolls deserve a review of their own. These are a meal in themselves, huge, sweet, and covered with frosting. If you want to add protein, ask for their sausage patties--they are delicious. Frankly, I doubt you could order anything here that isn't top notch.

The breakfast skillets are perfectly prepared and delicious. I always take a cinnamon roll to go, as well--they're enormous! The staff is fantastic.

I love eating here because when ever I am done with my meetings at the Sauk Prairie Chamber of Commerce (across the street) I can have lunch. Or if I have a mid-morning meeting, I'll stop and have breakfast. The food selection is huge and great items for all ages. The portions are ample, like that, can take some home.... More

This was our second visit at Leystra. The first was for lunch, which was OK. We kept hearing from the neighbors that breakfast was a must. Well, as usual, they were right. The Mrs. had the bacon and cheese omelet with a side of short stack. This is one place that makes an omelet the right way, not just frying... More
