While staying in Algoma we soon found out that this time of the year most of the restaurants in Algoma are closed on Monday ( except for Subway). Not a problem since we were on vacation and Sturgeon Bay was only 15 Miles away. While driving through the main part of town we flipped a coin and ended up at" Inn... More

Great food as well as super friendly service. We come here for dinner, the food isn't Haute Cuisine, yet it has some nice dishes and the view of the downtown is fun to observe.

We were seated immediately for dinner and were assured the waiter would be with us shortly. The host came and gave us our water, but after about ten minutes we still hadn't been greeted by our waiter. At that point we would have walked out if there had been any other restaurants in the immediately area open and without a... More

Great lunch, as well as breakfasts. One of our favorites in Sturgeon Bay, and have returned several times

We visit this place every time we come to Sturgeon Bay. The food is always fresh and delicious. The chef does wonders with fresh fish, makes mussels to die for, and makes an Italian wedding soup dinner in a bowl that is a must try. They have a beautiful wood bar area which offers a daily happy hour. A great... More

We intentionally returned to this restaurant based on a great experience last year.... sadly, this experience was totally the opposite. We were not even greeted with a 'hello' rather 'reservation?'... like we were annoying the woman behind the counter; no smile, definitely not welcoming; we were seated after 10 minutes and waited for the server to arrive. When she (Carrie)... More

We were in the area looking at fall colors and stopped in Sturgeon Bay for breakfast. We were going to a place across the street when the Inn was noticed. We crossed the street to try it out. AWESOME breakfast at reasonable prices. I had the pancakes, two of them. Finished maybe three quarters of them before saying uncle. They... More

The food at this pleasant storefront restaurant on Sturgeon Bay's main drag was excellent -- both the walleye and the whitefish. And the manager and waiters were great -- made you feel that they truly cared about your experience, something we found rare in Door County.

We stop here several times a year because the food is great. Good menu with many choices. We have a vegetarian with us who has multiple options as well. The lady at the front and some of the servers could be a bit more pleasant. Think they get stressed when it is busy. Strongly advise having a reservation.

WSJ did an article about Red Snapper being the most faked fish species in restaurants today. It's not always the restaurants fault. Pretty sure we did not get Red Snapper. Very thick filet (and overcooked). The Walleye was excellent! As was the spinach salad and pumpkin pie. The crab cakes were good, not great. Excellent service. The Inn needs to... More
