After reading reviews I just HAD to try this bakery. We went in around 6:30 am on Friday. I had a raspberry scone and I got 2 cookies and a mini cinnamon roll for my husband. The scone was great! My husband loved the cookies. He said the cinnamon roll was a little dry. The bread wasn't ready yet, but... More

There's a sign in the window "for sale" - go in. This bakery is OPEN for business. Grab some coffee, pair it with any of the homemade muffins, scones, cookies - sit a spell. Feel relaxed . Buy baked goods for later! It's ALL good.

Even though the bakery is a relatively recent arrival on the Sturgeon Bay Eating Scene, it's owner is far from it. A veteran of the Wisconsin food and beverage scene, Dave Patton seems to have set out to live a dream: run a small-town bakery that's open only as long as there's anything to sell, and what it sells only... I had excellent service with a warm smile and a nice thank you. They do not do Debit Transactions and don't have the new chip reading Credit Card machines.

Delicious! I especially like any scone with brown sugar on top!!! Nice place to sit and enjoy coffee and scone or muffin or cookie. Also, great to stop for purchase to enjoy at home.

Fresh scones and muffins everyday made with the freshest ingredients. The best molasses cookies I have ever eaten. Bread choices are wonderful.

Delicious, definitely 'yes!'. I had heard chatter that this was a worthy stop so I made it a point to pop in this newer business. The owner/baker was so pleasant and genuinely kind. The aesthetics inside the bakery strike a fabulous juxtaposition to its simple and quaint exterior. Country church reveals an artistic sensibility at work in the most soothing... More

We walked to the bakery for a snack before hitting the museums and thrift stores. Great Scones and fresh breads.

The bread is consistently good. The baguettes and Italian breads are very traditional with a crusty exterior, with soft interior. There is also a good variety of unique breads. The desserts are good, but not as outstanding as at the Inn at Cedar Crossing.

I absolutely loved the cinnamon rolls! I was a little disappointed to spend 1.50 per cookie as they were hard and not very tasty.

Hi, thank you for stopping at the bakery and letting us know how we did. After 16 months open and 30.000 cookies this is the first complaint that I have had. Which cookie did you not enjoy so I can look into it. Our cookies are only $1.25 not $1.50 which is on the low end for Door County. Thanks... More
