The food was okay, but not great. The service was good and our waitress was friendly. Probably would not go back if ever in the area again.

Old school atmosphere. Small and simple menu. We had the red chili, it was decent. Waitress forgot our side salad but removed it from the bill promptly upon noticing the mistake. We were eating our main course within ten minutes of being seated. We were in and out in under thirty minutes. Quick and friendly service. They were moderately busy.

Decent diner food, though heavy-handed with the gravy on my hot turkey sandwich. We arrived just ahead of an expected tour bus, and the restaurant staff were running like all hands on deck. We ordered quickly and, as we were eating, pitied the poor people seated after the bus arrived. Our turn to wait came when it was time to... More

I had the smothered enchiladas and my friend had the smothered soft tacos. They both were great. Our waitress had been there 13 years and attentive even though they were busy. This was my 3rd time to stay in Rawlins and eat at Cappy's.

On a 7,000 mile motorcycle trip and we look for interesting local restaurants to try. Obviously a decent place to eat based on the number of vehicles outside. The GREEN CHILI was excellent, recommended by our waitress. Food quality was great for both of our meals.

Riding back from Sturgis to Salt Lake, we happened upon Cappy's, near the gas station where we filled up. We're so glad we stopped! We were seated right away, and a friendly waitress helped guide us toward a pretty terrific patty melt! We really enjoyed our meals and thought the prices were very fair. We'll definitely stop here again!

We spent the night nearby and this was recommended as a good meal stop, so we gave it a try. The steak was pretty good, but a bit pricey, and the service was good. Not bad for an out of the way café.

I must first rave about their real ho made cherry pie. It was the best I've had since grandma died!!! The meal itself was good and you get plenty. Our waitress, Allison, was amazing. A good place to eat with a great waitress.

Went in for breakfast. Had Denver omelette. Server was on the ball, food came out fast and hot and was very tasty! Very reasonably priced too. What more could you want?

In all fairness, the waitress was friendly. That was it. I ordered a Patty Melt and a Diet Coke. I got a Diet Pepsi...not the same, sorry. Warn me first and ask if a Diet Pepsi is okay. I ordered the Patty Melt specifically with Swiss cheese as the menu said the put American cheese on it. When I got... More
