If you go skiing at Jackson Hole or just visit Teton Village the Mangy Moose is a must! Great atmosphere, food, drinks at reasonable prices. Live music adds to the ambiance late afternoon. Loved this place!

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 January 2017

The food was fresh and good, with plenty of great choices on the menu, and prices were reasonable, a good value. A great meatless option is the mushroom bolognese, very rich and delicious (it does have cheese so not for vegans). The sides of roasted mushrooms and spinach were delicious, the proportions generous, they come in iron ramekins, hot from... More

This place is a must for an apres ski stop. They usually have live music and a great crowd. The wings are awesome, local beer is great, and can't miss out on getting a snuggler (hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps) after a long day of skiing.

The food is good and affordable. The service is A+. Great place for dinner after skiing Jackson Hole ski resort. It's a must if you're in Jackson Hole Ski Resort. They also have the Mangy Moose Bar next-door which is very lively and popular. They usually have a live band and that makes for a great atmosphere, but a little... More

A friend recommended the Mangy Moose and since we were staying near Teton Village, we decided to give it a try and were glad we did. Lunch mid day ski was in the saloon... pricey but good. Dinner in the restaurant by the fire with a table next to the window.... snow falling, was better. Service was great both lunch... More

This place has been in business forever. It's OK, but not worth the price, even for Teton Village. The service is friendly but only when you can find your waiter, who may not be familiar with the menu. The food is nothing special. It has fun decor hanging from the walls and ceiling.

Yes, the Mangy Moose is celebrating 50 years in 2017. I can promise you; we are not "living off our reputation." We continue to be popular after all these years because we are always working to serve quality, regionally sourced food in a fun atmosphere at very reasonable prices. We are proud of our food and our service. Thank you... More

If you do not go to the Moose while in JH skiing or otherwise you have missed the best place to eat, drink and see the locals in their own environment.

While skiing at Jackson Hole we stopped for lunch at the Many Moose and were not disappointed. They have a good selection of lunch food and an okay beer selection (they could use a wider selection of draft beers). The service was very good; quick, friendly and patient. A nice place for the whole family.

We stopped for lunch while skiing at Jackson. The atmosphere is the perfect for a ski resort with great bar food and sandwiches. There is a fireplace for warming up and lots lots to look at including a full sized moose hooked to a sleigh.

Description
One of the best DINNER options in Jackson Hole? We think so! Since joining the Mangy Moose in May, 2015, Executive Chef, Seth Nelson has created a really great menu using locally sourced meat and game, (grass fed, no hormones or antibiotics), delicious appetizers and deserts. (Try the "Jackson Holes" - warm, house made doughnut holes with vanilla ice cream and huckleberry sauce.) Our General Manager, Ari Borshell has been with us since 1991 and he and the Moose team will do everything possible to make sure you have a great experlience at the Mangy Moose. When you visit us, you will find friendly staff, reasonable prices, and delicious food for the entire family. BREAKFAST options include eggs through yogurt items. A delicious selection of salads, San which espouses and burgers are on our lunch menu. Also, hand tossed pizza is available on our Saloon menu. We have a GROCERY store and WINE shop, (over 325 labels), GIFT SHOPS and LIVE MUSIC on our stage. We are very proud that since 1967 the Mangy Moose continues to be such a popular destination on any to visit to Jackson Hole.
