My wife and I ate there three days in a row! LauLau was wonderful but what really made the experience was the staff. They treated us like we were enjoying a meal in their home.

When you first drive up to Super J's you may say to yourself "Are you sure?" My family had those thoughts but we are adventurous and the reviews were outstanding so in we went. No fancy décor, no fancy menu, no hassles at all! The food was truly memorable, the ladies (everyone's name starts with J) made me want to... More

We were on the road from Pu'uhonua, searched for the closest place to eat and the GPS brought us to this place. We never heard of this restaurant so we didn't know what to expect. It is a tiny place, looks more like your aunt put a couple of tables in her garage to seat unexpected visitors. We were hesitant... More

Hole in the wall, a bit hard to find, very tasty eats and friendly service. Roasted meats in banana like leaves with basic sides, rice, and don't forget to ask for the spicy vinegar water. Quick service and delightful ladies serving their customers.

We went here based on a guidebook recommendation and were not disappointed. We walked in and the super-sweet woman behind the counter was like...have you been here before? We said we were hungry but had no idea what to order. She then told us to sit down and took care of everything. Brought us the most delicious laulau and eventually... More

We stopped at this small unassuming place for lunch on a Wednesday and were blown away by the food. The women working at the restaurant seemed to be the owners and cooks. The food was simple but excellent, included a dessert, and was very affordable! We would definitely return for this local authentic Hawaiian deliciousness!
