If going southern route to/from Volcanoes this is a good food stop. The food overall is good, prices average for big island, nice homey atmosphere. Adult children loved the macnut cream pie. We stopped for lunch on the way over and again the next day on the way back for pie!

We stopped here for lunch as we returned from visiting the Volcano National Park. Ordered mahi sandwich. Good, but nothing special. Service was very friendly and helpful. Not much else in the area and glad we stopped for our meal.

Our family ate here on the afternoon of Christmas eve & enjoyed the good food! Friendly staff & good service! I had a salted caramel macadamia nut brownie, which was good, but even better was the macadamia nut cream pie that my husband had! Outstanding!!!

We just had lunch here after a short hike on the Manuka Nature Trail. We split a loco Moco and a piece of pie. Totally Ono. Friendly servers. Way better than lunch across the street where the tour buses stop.😎

Amazing food! Atmosphere is beautiful and kind. I recommend having the cornbread.... I had 9 pieces😳 It is the best cornbread I've ever had in my entire life!

We visited on the last day of our trip and both my boyfriend and myself loved the good. The teriyaki burger was really good.

This restaurant is a block off the main drag so yoo won't see it driving through town. Not much on decor but it does serve fresh fish dishes and has a menu suitable for all. Service was immediate and the food came quickly and was prepared in a home cooked fashion of good grub but nothing notable about the taste.... More

We stopped here for lunch on our way from Kona to Volcano National Park, where the two-lane road doesn't offer many dining options. (Note: The restaurant doesn't face the main road, so you've got to watch for the intersection and turn onto the side street.) It's a modest café with a surprisingly wide-ranging menu--sandwiches, salads, and burgers, as well as... More

Stopped here for lunch on the way to Hilo. Delicious! Try the Liliko'i lemonade and any dish that comes with the fried rice.

They had some good selections and even better prices. I had a pork dish and my wife had the daily special of an enchilada. Both were very good with a few sides. The service was very fast too. I would go back if I was ever on that side of the island.

Thank Adam H
