We got the #1 lunch special and asked if I could get the curried fried rice instead of Jasmin rice. The owner Mario was very pleasant and accommodating. When the food came out it looked Fresh and tasted amazing. Hands down a must to eat at when you are in waimea.

Excellent Thai cuisine at a reasonable price. We always try to go here when we are on the big island. Haven't been disappointed yet.

Drove the 20mins from Hapuna Beach - worth it. A few restaurants in the shopping complex. The appetizers were quite small - satay sticks and spring rolls. The mains were a good size. The Pad Thai, Penang chicken curry and chicken and cashews were very good. I'd come back again.

This doesn't get great reviews but we ate here twice and it was really OK. The green curry was a bit watery but the cashew nut stir fry was excellent. It's not the best Thai on the island (Ning's in Pahoa was streets ahead, for example) but if you fancy Thai in the north of the island, there's no reason... More

As a huge fan of Thai cooking, my opinion is that this is a good place, with tasty dishes, although not often done the traditional Thai way: - lovely summer rolls with sauce that instead of being mashed peanuts, was lemon/lime with crushed peanuts. I found it a lot nicer than the traditional one but worth mentioning. - squid salad... More

My girlfriend, Kathy, and I (married 40 yrs. and counting), have eaten at the Waimea Charley's (the one pictured is the one at the Queen's Shops at the Waikoloa Beach Resort, probably just as good) at least once a month for 10 years! It always takes us back to our visit to Bangkok. Excellent food, service, and the best Thai... More

We were in Hawaii for 7 days and ate dinner here twice! This was the second best Thai restaurant I have ever patronized. Each night we had a different appetizer and entree and one seemed to be better than the other. The service and food were excellent. A must when we return.

My wife has celiac disease and we are always looking for a restaurant where the food is good and we can trust that the food won't make her ill. We dropped in here the first night is our vacation and were pleased that the server was pleasant and knew her stuff. She knew that the soy sauce was gluten free.... More

Popped in this restaurant for lunch. we were seated right away but it took almost 15 minutes till the server even came to take our drink order. The restaurant is very cold inside. We had a panang thai curry (chicken) and a curry fried rice. The panning curry that I had had a lot of fish sauce. My husband asked... More
