We went for breakfast. The food was good. Service was good. We sat on the patio. We are water drinkers and there was no pressure to order other beverages.

By comparison to the Italian reataurant at the Hilton Romano's wins hands down. Better prices, better food and little extras like free warm bread with oil to dip.

We ate at this location a couple of times while staying at the Waikoloa resort for a couple of weeks in January. Our first experience was fairly good, we had good service (Amber), food was fairly good. We had the Calamari appetizer, along with Chicken...More

This was a nice change from all the "crud" I went there because I know what it has and what it should be like... they came through for me with perfect food and perfect beverages and great services. Best meal I had on the island...More

Mac Grill always serves up reliable, hearty, and tasty Italian fare that is well prepared and served quickly with a smile. Our server, Meggan, was delightfully engaging, but not intrusive, and fast and efficient. We got the special lentel & bean soup to split, Lasagna...More

Had a family meal here last night; decent food, decent service, decent location. Food was overpriced for what we had but we sort of expected that as it is in the Wailoloa Beach Resort area and everything is overpriced. Not bad but you could probably...More

For the area this was one of the best family restaurants, pricing a little high, but to be expected in this location. Most of our meals were excellent.

The food and atmosphere was excellent. It was our first night in Hawaii, and too late to really find anywhere, so we chose Romano's because we have one at home as well. Our waiter was great - me made suggestions based on his own personal...More

Just about what you would expect; nothing great, nothing terrible. We were getting in late and needed some "gut fill", it did the trick. My advice, if you're on the island and have a choice, eat where locals eat, enjoy the culture.

Stopped here for breakfast and experienced terrible service and poorly prepared food. Suggest that this place stop serving breakfast as this is not their strong point.

Hawaii and prices....Paradise has its price and you do have to pay to get food items to the Islands. That said, Romano's is good food and the price is cheaper than other restaurants. It is arguable not fine dining, but the... More

You don't bring your own wine, you have to BUY there and that depends on the type of wine you buy $30-to probably hundreds. They are priced the same as any other Macaroni Grill, it's a chain. It's reasonable. But nothing... More
