We ate at Imari last night for dinner and had a wonderful meal. The setting is tranquil and beautiful if you sit near the windows. Here are two tips: 1. The portions are large and varied with a very nice mix of flavors for the discerning palette. 2. It is pricey. Dinner for two was over $100 as I had... More

See other post on Hilton hotel about the wine for a full description but this place either stores their wine badly or is pouring bad wine when you order and pay for good wine.

We loved our visit to Imari. The atmosphere was intimate, slightly outdated, but nice. Their sushi menu was creative and the sushi was so fresh and good. Great presentation as well. It is a little pricey, but the convenience of being on site at the resort made it worthwhile for us.

We were thinking of getting a bit dressed-up, you know, formal shorts and polo shirts, but when we passed by it on or way back to our room after a day spent driving to the Volcanoes National Park and saw diners in very casual wear, what the heck we proceeded straight to the restaurant. Not only did they welcome us... More

We had a lovely meal of two rolls plus noodles at this restaurant while staying at the Hilton. Good service and nice wine list. The food was quite good.

Very good food coupled with great service makes this place a must visit. We were told that this place I'd closing down in March of 2017.

I am a lover of Ramen and that is why I chose this Imari. If your a fish and sushi fan you will probably love this place. The soup base of the ramen wasn't to my liking and the texture of the noodles weren't the best either.

We ate here our first night. Indoor seating, hibachi grill. The food was good. The chef skilled and very inviting. It's as expensive as everything else in hawaii

You are not advised to order noodles...such as miso ramen and tonkotsu ramen...more than USD 30 per bowl.

We have now been to Imari four times, each time taken traditional dining rather than the Group dining. Group dining involves 8 people grouped around a chef who makes a show out of the food preparation. Traditional dining is what every restaurant offers with you sitting at your own table and waiter/ waitress taking your order. The food has been... More
