Unfortunately this was a disappointment but the location is fantastic and you might have a better experience than us. Two families went out for dinner two nights ago. It turned out that evening was the buffet night and I think that might have been our problem. We aren't above a buffet but for $55 each I would prefer to order... More

Having dinner at the Hawaii Calls restaurant is always on our list of to do things on Kona. The food is fine, the service is okay and the bar can be noisy. But the setting for a sunset dinner is special and a good value.

We were here during their remodeling, so it wasn't busy at all (no one dining, 530pm) but were told by hostron that we couldn't have a table, so we perched at the bar. Lucky for us that we weren't seated at a table, as we had a fun and engaging evening visiting and joking with the bartenders and eating pub... More

We ate breakfast here this morning. We are staying at the nearby Bay Club...and, we felt like a change of scenery for breakfast! Here are my thoughts: 1. We used their valet parking. While it was fast and efficient, the cost was $10. Interestingly, the nearby Fairmont Orchid offers free valet parking if you eat on their grounds. 2. Breakfast... More

This is a typical Hawaiian hotel with a good breakfast buffet but lacks an upscale dinner restaurant. The dinner menu is just ok and the quality reflects this. The hotel recommends within other fine dining restaurants within walking distance in the Kings and Queens centers.

Came here for a family dinner. View is spectacular, especially at sunset. Good choice of food for kids, regular menu is small but still a good selection. Food was tasty, although what my wife ordered on the menu was not described as the seafood linguine she got. Service was a little odd - almost over attentive but not very personable.... More

This restaurant is located in the pool/garden area of the Marriott Hotel. I enjoyed a wonderful fish dinner. The tomato bisque soup was delicious. The portions of the food served was adequate and beautifully served. The service was great. I enjoyed everything about the evening dining experience.

My wife has celiac disease so we are always looking for good food that won't make her ill. We are staying at this hotel and our first morning decided to have breakfast in the hotel restaurant. The restaurant does not have a gluten free menu but we were assured that a number of the items on the menu could be... More

I ate breakfast here each morning during a recent stay. I found the breakfast buffet to pretty good with made to order eggs and omelets available some mornings. Service was wonderful and the covered outdoor seating offered a great view of the beach. What a way to start the day off! Its a bit pricey but what isn't at a... More

The prime rib and crab buffet tasted fine but resulted in horrible uncontrollable results. To the hotel's credit, their housekeeping staff took care of things quickly. Being the only on-site restaurant at the Marriott Waikoloa you'd think they would try not to food poison the guests. Now we have to go off-site for meals.
