Nothing beats these fresh ahi tacos! The rice was very flavorful but the beans were bland in comparison. Will be back!

While driving around a very windy Kauai we stopped in at Tacos Al Pastor. I had fish tacos for the first time. Very fresh Mahi, cooked just right, served with all the trimmings. You can sit and enjoy your tacos at the tables by the truck or you can take a short amble and sit on the beach. Delicious meal... More

We had fish tacos at 3 locations near Kapaa. This was the favorite. The fish has the best ratio of fish and toppings. No crazy amount of slaw here. The al pastor was extremely flavorful. Two tacos rice and beans is plenty for a meal.

The fish tacos were excellent, as was the rice. I'm not a fan of the pinto beans and would have preferred refried. Also, the moas everywhere diminished the low key ambiance. Good, quick option!

We love the tacos here and always stop when on island, usually while we ride the pathway. The ala cart tacos are our go-to and are the best value. My wife struggles to eat all of her chicken taco ($4), and I get the Fish ($4.50) and a pork (el pastor) ($4.50) taco. Everything is always fresh, hot and tasty.

I obviously believed the hype about this place and being a taco lover was curious about this cute little place. Put it this way, when I ate them I actually thought I was in the wrong place! I thought they were terrible, nothing tasty about them chewy meat and sauces made them worse.

Tacos Al Pastor food truck is located with several other trucks in a little "community" of great food possibilities. The woman who took our order just seemed to radiate a smiling attitude. We had their fish tacos ($11) -- and split between the two of us, it was a great lunch. We sat on a rock at the beach just... More

This place was really good but not mind blowing, it's just a well done food truck with honest food. Great place to grab lunch.

On the way back from the north shore to the airport we stopped at 'Al Pastor' for lunch, ordered 'Garlic-Shrimp-Tacos' and 'Steak-Tacos'. The food was okay, but nothing special at all. At least the roasters were very happy, they ate all the throw-away from the rubbish-bin. Would select another place for lunch!
