One sushi chef for a place that seats a couple hundred equates to boring uncreative sushi. Most of the rolls are COOKED. The chef has zero personality and unwilling to do any requests-- take it or leave it mentality. Save your money. Sushi from the grocery store would be better

I had vegetable tempura for the first time and it was very good. My friend had salmon as an appetizer and she also enjoyed it.

Monday night and we didn't have a reservation - really busy, but only waited about 20 minutes for a table. Service was a little slow at first. The food was fresh and delicious ! Definitely recommend

We went based on the recommendation of a local. The place opens at 530pm, and there was a line of people waiting outside when we arrived at 525...they were able to seat everyone, but they kept telling groups they had to be gone before 7pm because of reservations (this wasn't a problem, we were out by 630). The service is... More

We LOVE going to dinner at Kintaro. It is a popular local spot. In fact so popular it is almost impossible to get a table without a reservation. So make a reservation for your dinner. Another option is sitting at the bar to order your meal and the lovely bartender Irene will give you great service.

Was recommended by our dive guides and glad we went! The sushi was great and would definitely recommend to others. Had the softshell crab, the shrimp tempura with unagi, and lots of others.

This restaurant was recommended by some locals and it did not disappoint. They have everything you can ask for and more. I had some sushi including soft shell crab roll that was excellent. My wife enjoyed her tempura and I my nabeyaki. There's a definite Japanese ambiance but with an Island ohana flair. You don't need it special occasion to... More

Had a reservation, which you need, sat at the teppanyaki table. Food was good and cook was fun. Had the chicken and scrimp and would recommend. Priced typical for area and worth the experience.

The restaurant was full of locals which is a testament to long time good food and service. We enjoyed sushi and tempera as well as miso soup.

We've been here every year practically for the last 15 and it never fails to please us. It can get crowded to plan accordingly. The waitstaff are all pleasant. The service is fast and efficient but not pushy. We never feel hurried. There is always a nice mix of type of patron from dressed up to go out to a... More
