Duke's is always a requirement when we visit Kauai. The wait staff are all wonderful, the views of paradise are incomparable, and the food is so very, very excellent.

We had our Thanksgiving meal here - some had turkey and some had fish - and the food was fantastic! Extensive salad bar, and you must order a Hula Pie to share for dessert!

Food was good loved the tacos and they had a nice beer selection. We were able to go late after a few drinks by the Marriott bar

Worst food we ate on the island, so much so that we both woke up with stomach cramps on the second time we ate there. The first time wasn't the best downstairs, so we thought we'd give it a go upstairs as we had been told it was a better menu. Wish we hadn't bothered now, as it certainly did... More

Food is good, service is good, and the view is good. Worth it! I would say it is worth going once, but I ended up going twice: once for drinks after dinner, and then while my husband was surfing.

There are few really good locations for Dinner in Kauai. Duke's is one of the best! Great location, good food and service. We enjoyed everything including the salad bar, which we don't generally like. Yes this is touristy, but have a good time anyway. The fresh fish is good, the steaks looked great, even though the table next to us... More

Great food and wait staff. Reservations are a must for dinner. They have a kids menu. All their fish dishes are awesome. The salad bar is great too. Will be back.

Every November we come to Kauai - and as soon as we land, we head for Duke's. The Barefoot Bar has great prices and it is such a beautiful setting! They had great music and excellent food - fresh fish and shredded pork sandwiches.

The salad bar is amazing and a great benefit . . . Only $3 with an entree. One of the best if not the best salad bar I've ever experienced. Food was fresh, with unique options. Highly recommend. I had the Ahi and it was fabulous, the short ribs were also phenomenal. Of course the hula pie is a must... More

Beautiful location and would have been a great place for dinner. The food for lunch was OK but the dining room looked amazing with its decor. Lunch food was average but beers went down fast. Nothing great for lunch but dinner might have been a different story.
