Stopped for an early lunch at Dukes after relaxing on the beach. The restaurant filled up quickly - glad we had a table with a view. Good service, good drinks, good food on the most beautiful Hawaiian Island!

The place was packed but we got lucky and got a good table and a terrific and memorable waiter. He had been working there more than 15 years and knew what foods to recommend. It was really a wonderful experience--a very short walk from Kauai...More

There are many things to like about Duke's - the great view, excellent service and that plentiful salad bar! We discovered it one night and returned the next. It's that good. We also enjoyed people watching as families come here to celebrate.

We have been coming to Kauai with our kids for almost twenty years. At least one meal at Duke's is a family tradition. The fish is particularly good, and the salad bar is the best on the island by far. The ambience is incredible. It's...More

Island casual for the most part. Some people dressed up a little ( dress shorts and collared shirt) but not fancy dress by any means.

On the sand at Kalapaki Beach, Duke’s is dedicated to legendary surfer Duke Kahanamoku, Hawaii’s Ambassador of Aloha. The restaurant’s open-air design offers stunning, sweeping ocean views while the 30 foot waterfall plunges into a koi pond below that meanders through the tables. Enjoy a leisurely lunch, romantic dinner, or tropical cocktail in a fun, friendly atmosphere.
