We ate at Duke's once again and once again it was amazing. We love the atmosphere. Our server was great, the salad bar is outstanding. If you go to Kauai then take a trip to Duke's.

Dukes is not hip, modern, trending, it's not anything that will get it into a Conde Nast Magazine. Dukes is Hawaii, the best view, decor c.1965, and sexy as only Hawaii can do it. Have a drink, some fresh fish and just ...take it all...More

We try to make it to Duke's at least once on each visit to Kauai. We have gone there many times since the 90s and as busy as it always is, the staff and chefs keep it going great. View of the bay/ocean from the...More

This restaurant is right next to the beach, and it's absolutely wonderful. The ambiance is very tropical, and the architecture is open/airy. There is a small waterfall and large koi pond right in the center of the restaurant. The nachos are fantastic, but beware, they...More

A great salad bar and delicious food awaits at this classic restaurant. Reserve an early time if you want seating close to the ocean. The seafood is good and go with your waiter's preparation recommendation. Very limited deserts and the pie has to be shared.

We always love the food and drinks. We were a party of 9 and they were gracious to accommodate us at round tables both nights we were there.

Island casual for the most part. Some people dressed up a little ( dress shorts and collared shirt) but not fancy dress by any means.

On the sand at Kalapaki Beach, Duke’s is dedicated to legendary surfer Duke Kahanamoku, Hawaii’s Ambassador of Aloha. The restaurant’s open-air design offers stunning, sweeping ocean views while the 30 foot waterfall plunges into a koi pond below that meanders through the tables. Enjoy a leisurely lunch, romantic dinner, or tropical cocktail in a fun, friendly atmosphere.
