Food here is always good. Service this time was on "Hawaii" time but always friendly and helpful. The Hula pie itself almost makes it worth a trip. Beautiful view of the ocean while eating. Salad bar is extra $3 but worth it. We try to...More

Not to be missed. Open windows overlooking a beautiful beach. Excellent fish with a delicious salad bar. Hula pie not to be missed for dessert. One of our favorites in Lihue!

Took the family here for a special dinner in the upstairs dining room. Order the gnocchi and mushrooms which had very little gnocchi and mainly a lot of unchopped mushrooms. Told the waiter about this and you shrugged it off and ignored us. Salad bar...More

10 min from the airport you can be at Kalapaki beach, dining oceanside at the bare foot grill. I had my best meal of the whole trip. The fresh fish on rice. My boy had the wings, also his favorite meal. I think the husband...More

Amazing food experience. We had the seven seasoned seared Ahi tuna and it was to die for. My son had the ribs and said they were best he'd ever had. Come hungry and get the amazing salad bar for $3 extra. And then save room...More

We dined twice here - first right after our arrival in Kauai, and again to bid my parents "aloha" before we dropped them off. We got many dishes to share, including Korean tacos, nachos, and the Hula Pie! The atmosphere was beautiful and calming, with...More

During our month long stay on Kauai, we went to Duke's several times for lunch. I know other people had different things, but I stayed with fish tacos each time because they were awesome!! Loved it. Service was good as well as the Mai Tai's.

Island casual for the most part. Some people dressed up a little ( dress shorts and collared shirt) but not fancy dress by any means.

Description
On the sand at Kalapaki Beach, Duke’s is dedicated to legendary surfer Duke Kahanamoku, Hawaii’s Ambassador of Aloha. The restaurant’s open-air design offers stunning, sweeping ocean views while the 30 foot waterfall plunges into a koi pond below that meanders through the tables. Enjoy a leisurely lunch, romantic dinner, or tropical cocktail in a fun, friendly atmosphere.
