Order a grass fed burger of your choice and be sure to get taro fries. Sit upstairs if you can to get an ocean view and feel the breeze. Since it is close to the airport, this is typically our first stop.

Best breakfast ever!! Banana macadamia pancakes!! However, they no longer make Taro burgers. I’m really sad because I’ve been looking forward to their Taro burgers. I’m trying the veggie to see if it matches up. Fruit smoothie is amazing.

Just left there. Had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and added Portuguese sausage to it. Wife had pancakes. Wife reports pancakes were very good. Sandwich was ok but eggs were not made to the requested style. We sat in the crow’s nest area (which...More

Love this place. We ate breakfast every single day while staying on Kauai. Everything is made to order and is delicious. Their loco moco is hearty (saw plenty of locals ordering it as well, so you know it’s on point) and will keep you full...More

Came here after our Helo ride, the food was fresh, tasty, and cooked to order. Burger was juicy the bacon crispy.

We always come here straight from the airport for fish and chips. It really gets in the island mood. The place isn’t fancy but the food is great - really excellent. You can sit up above and watch Kalapaki Beach and the cruise ships.

Great & messy (juicy) burger-the best kind. Many burger options along with a few fish entrees. We had the aloha burger and the teriyaki burger, an order of taro fries, a chocolate milkshake and a bottle of water. Everything was delicious. I would highly recommend...More

Had breakfast here and ordered two bacon-tomato omelettes. My husband didn’t get any bacon. I requested mine without bacon—but didn’t get tomatoes (or bacon). We heard the cook complaining about about “custom omelettes.” That seemed too difficult to do 🙂. Otherwise, OK, and a nice...More

After walking on the beach and around town we stopped in for some lunch. We both ordered a burger. They were huge and delicious. The service was very friendly and the price was about what you would pay for a big mac. I will definitely...More

This great little place has an amazing view from upstairs of the bay! But the best part are the burgers and Taro fries! Best on the Island of Kauai! Great milkshakes and shave ice too! Don't miss it!

Kalapaki Beach Hut is not the place to eat if you are a vegan or requires gluten free food. The kitchen is tine and even if they tried, I fear there would be some cross pollination of meat products, and, or bread products.

No, I don't think they serve alcohol. You can go right around the corner to Duke's. Great location! We went at sunset so it very pleasant to watch the evening sky. Food was good and the staff were very friendly. We even ate... More
