Been to Hawaii five times, and this is one of the best Luau's I've been too. The food is plentiful, hot and great. They even had steaks for people that didn't want the pork (shouldn't miss the pork). The show they put on was one of the best ones. Told the whole story of how the islands were created up... More

We stayed here for a long weekend (we live on Maui) and loved it. You might wonder why I gave it four stars instead of five? I travel a lot and while this hotel is beautiful, its not ultra fancy. We stayed in a Deluxe Ocean Front Room and it was roomy with a remodeled bathroom. Out view was slightly... More

Because it was windy & slightly chilly, the hotel opted to have the luau inside in the ballroom. BAD decision. It really destroyed the whole Hawaiian luau experience. You sat at tables set up in rows & a small stage up in the front. I felt like I was at a bad Vegas show. I would imagine the show would... More

They really paint a great picture of Polynesian tribal life. The performances are crazy good! The food at the Luau was fantastic!

If you have never been to the Hawaiian islands and decide to go - a Lu'au should be on your list of things to do. It is a traditional Hawaiian feast coupled with Hawaiian dances and an explanation of Hawaiian history and tradition. Often there are stands selling Hawaiian artwork and jewelry and activities for kids. The theme is always... More

We’ve been to several luaus and this one had the best food we have ever had at a luau. The show was very good as well. When we visited in early January, 2017, it was not a huge crowd and I think this contributed to our overall feeling about the event---very nice! It would have been nice at the beach,... More

Beautiful luau! The food is definitely spot on! Love the buffet style layout! (Like most hotel luaus!) They really put effort into the presentation! It is all you can eat and trust me you will leave full! The pig was fantastic! It had such a subtle smoke flavor and was very tender! The onion tomato dish was very tasty! Sweet... More

We attended this luau on Christmas night. There had to have been over 800 people and the line to check in was over 45 minutes long. The food was good and the service was good as well. The entertainment was very long and we were seated quite a ways from the stage so it was difficult to see. It was... More

I am basing this review on the many Luaus I have attended. The Grand Hyatt Luau is ok. The food was good and the service was top notch! I thought the cost of $125 per person was a tad high. However, that price does include open bar and unlimited Mai Tais! The entertainment was good and there was only a... More

We stayed here w my entire family. Outstanding view and vast premises so took us 10 min from our room to my sisters. Walking along the sea in the morning and evening was enjoyable. its islated from the crowd but best to chill out w your family. A few nice restaurants are there but very pricey.
