My favorite waitress is still here after 17 years. They had four Sushi chefs and an executive chef and seemed to be busy all the time. Before you ate sushi in the actual bar area, but they have opened the back and now it is a full restaurant. They had a guitarist in the bar area after 8pm, I think,... More

Solid sushi option if you want to stay on property at grand HYATT hotel. We've consistently dined here every year when we visit. Poke is always delish with cold sake options. You can dine at sushi bar or at a table. Quiet and relaxing. Tip: you can make reservations via open table versus walking in.

We enjoyed Stevensons Library very much. Sushi is very good and a lot of work goes into making it. Our cold beer and wine were delicious and the trade winds blowing outside made it even bette! Some other tables were grumbling because food was taking a while. For us it did not seem long and it was busy. Dinner on... More

If you're a sushi connoisseur, skip this place. The good news - the fish was fresh. The bad news - the sushi rice wasn't prepared properly (it completely fell apart with the first bite) and the sashimi wasn't sliced right (too thick with an odd pile of leftovers). The drinks were expensive and not at all good. The place is... More

Good spot for sushi/asian fare late night at the resort. Becomes pretty crowded after the other restaurant bars close.

You can now order sushi at the bar! The room is gorgeous, the staff is friendly and the mango martini is awesome! It was fun watching Super Bowl at the bar!

We enjoy Hawaiian music and we knew a couple who would be playing at Stevenson's so we went for cocktails, dinner and the music. We told the hostess we had no reservations but would like to sit near the band. She said the back of the restaurant was full and we would have to wait for a barstool or a... More

There aren't a lot of bars open late at night in Poipu, this one is definitely upscale but a beautiful venue with nice live music. If you're staying at the Grand Hyatt, this is the only bar onsite at night. The decor is top notch (lots of Hawaiian wood carvings) and there is some nice live music. The drinks are... More

The views from Stevenson's Library are gorgeous. The service and atmosphere are terrific. The sushi is excellent. There are tasty creative options of maki sushi; and the serving size is large. It is not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for.

Thank Seth S
